The Necropolis is the beginning of *The Little Nightmares 3*. Players control Low and Alone in a place overrun with crows, where a massive baby wanders around. This baby can turn anything to stone just by looking at it! You’ll need to solve puzzles and be quick on your feet to make it to the next chapter.
When playing by yourself, the game’s AI will take control of the second character – either Low or Alone – and assist you with solving puzzles.
Necropolis Walkthrough In Little Nightmares 3
Once Low recovers from the bizarre vision in the mirror, move ahead and toss a shoe at the button to lower the bridge.
Go over the bridge and down into the desert. Then, climb the ladder and have Alone clear the rocks blocking the tunnel’s exit.
Grab the Doll and pull the box of organs to go through the gap in the wall.
Throughout the chapter, you can shoot at least 11 Crows to get the Birdbrained Achievement.
Carefully cross the plank while Low cuts the rope, dropping a box below. Use this box to climb higher and continue forward. Then, shoot another rope to release a second box, creating a platform for the characters to jump across the narrow opening.

Step carefully across the planks and through the opening. Then, use Alone’s wrench to turn the lever, which will let Low cross over and cut the rope.

Move on to the next area and push the cage onto the pressure tile to open a path.

Climb the ladder and then walk left across the wooden planks. One person should turn the lever while the other stands on the box to reach a higher area. Once the lever is pulled, the ladder will lower, allowing the second person to climb up. Then, work together to move the wooden plank that’s blocking the way to the left.
Have Low shoot the crow that has the key, then collect the key. Go back to the base of the structure and use the key to open the door.
Work together to open the small door and wait for the large arm to move. Then, walk past the air vents and open the closet to find two umbrellas with feathers.
Go back into the vents and use the umbrella to float upwards. Then, slide down the rope and jump on the hatch at the same time to drop below.
Once the large hand disappears, run quickly to the right and use the umbrella to float upwards. Then, have Alone use the wrench to break the wall. Finally, use the umbrella again to glide down and open a door with them.
You can unlock the “Windy City” achievement by parachuting down and deploying your umbrella just before you land.

Players will need to hide in the next room, using pillars and a statue to avoid being turned to stone by the baby. Once they reach the end, they should stand on the marked tile, which will raise the floor like an elevator.

Break the rocks on the left side to find a Doll. Then, go through the opening on the left. Continue down the tunnel, past the hanging bodies, until you reach a small door at the very end.

You’ll encounter bugs, and it’s important to deal with them to continue. Use Low to shoot them, and Alone’s wrench to smash them.
Keep walking until you find another tunnel. It leads to a room with planks lining the walls. Use these planks to climb up and you’ll see a baby walking around.
Head back towards the camera and look for a door on your right. Once you find it, go up the stairs to collect another Doll. Then, use the umbrella to reach the platform.
Hold onto your umbrella and head to the next platform. When you’re ready to come down, open the umbrella to float, then quickly close it just before landing on the platform below.
Give the plank a push to get to the other side. As soon as you’re in the hallway, quickly hide behind the box – the baby monster is coming! Wait until it’s gone, then head down the hall towards the camera and look for an opening on the right.

The baby will reappear and grab the large rattle, creating a hole in the ground that the main characters can use to descend.
Continue through the tunnels, avoiding the stone statues, and ultimately use Alone to clear the wooden barrier blocking your path.
The characters are unfortunately captured by the giant baby, and after Low remembers something from the past, they find themselves in a different location.
First, go left through the opening to find the fourth Doll. Then, jump onto the ledge to your right to continue. Walk across the wooden planks and down the spiral staircases – you’ll eventually see the giant baby again.
Use toy blocks to hide from the petrifying gaze until you reach the tiny door at the end.
Take the box that’s under the stairs and use it as a step to get onto the higher platform. Then, use the wrench to break down the wall, and climb up two ladders. You’ll find a room with a petrified body hanging inside.
First, use the ‘Alone’ character to break the head, which will drop a rope. Then, have ‘Low’ shoot the rope to make the bell ring, capturing the baby’s focus. Quickly hide inside the box close by and wait for the baby to move on.
Go through the new opening on the right to reach the next room. Use the wrench with Alone to turn the wheel, which will create an airflow. This allows Low to fly upwards and open a ladder, letting her climb up.

Take the board off the door and continue forward until you find an opening in the wall. Once you’ve slid down a roof, immediately use your umbrella to cross to the other side.
Head up the long hallway, passing the shops, to collect the fifth and last Doll in this part of the Necropolis. Then, crawl to the right to keep going.
Collecting all Dolls during the first chapter rewards the Toybox Achievement.
Low will lift Alone up, then she needs to pull a box with a rope attached closer to him. Low will then grab onto the rope and swing like a pendulum to get to the lever, which will open the door.
To get the baby, pull the box from the left side of the next room. Once the short scene finishes, keep pulling the box to move onto the higher platform.
As before, use the boxes to stay out of the baby’s sight. The last box is suspended by a rope – have Low shoot it down to move ahead.
Climb through the window and head straight for a small door. Once you’re through, quickly run to your right to dodge falling pieces, and hide behind the large, rattling toy.

The baby has a scary look that can cause trouble, and she’ll swing her body around, knocking over a box. Use this chance – while she’s playing with the noisy toy – to quickly hide behind the box. If you’re not covered, she’ll look at you again and hurt players.

The crows will eventually arrive and distract the large baby by attacking her as she reaches into the room.
If players survive all baby encounters without dying, they will get the Peekaboo Achievement.

Follow the path to the right and use the umbrella to glide down through the hole.

Once Low makes contact with the mirror, take his hand to advance to the next part of the game. This will finish the first chapter, called the Necropolis, and unlock the “Child’s Play” achievement.
