Battlefield 6 is now available, and players are starting fresh to unlock all the weapons. Here are some tips to help you quickly earn XP and level up.
Battlefield 6 has launched to great excitement and is already packed with things to do! Players are having fun creating content like Star Wars ships using the Portal feature, and even more new content will be released on October 28th with the start of Season 1.
How to Farm XP in Battlefield 6
To help you easily find what you need, we’ve organized our best tips for gaining XP in Battlefield 6 into separate sections.
Play to Your Class
In Battlefield 6, choosing a class isn’t just about how you look. While you can use many different weapons, you’ll be most effective if you play to your class’s unique abilities and focus on its intended role.
Players with the Medic role should focus on reviving teammates, as this earns a good amount of experience, and there are usually plenty of chances to do so. Assault players, on the other hand, should concentrate on attacking and defending key areas. They’ll get extra experience for each kill they make while inside those areas.
Recon players can quickly gain XP by simply spotting enemies, and even more if a teammate then defeats those spotted targets. Engineers, on the other hand, should concentrate on keeping friendly vehicles in working order and damaging or destroying enemy vehicles using weapons like launchers and mines.
Party Up
You can get extra rewards in Battlefield 6 simply by playing with friends! If you meet the requirements, you could see a boost of up to 15%.
Buying the full game gives you a 5% experience boost, which might not seem useful now, but will be helpful when the free-to-play mode launches. Playing with friends in a party also gives you an extra 5% experience.
Plus, if you have a PlayStation Plus membership and play online with up to three friends who also have PS Plus, you’ll get an extra 5% boost.
Head to Portal
Battlefield’s Portal feature lets players create and share their own game modes and experiences. It’s natural that some of these player-made modes focus on quickly earning a lot of experience points.
Game modes similar to these are gaining popularity, especially in games like Fortnite. However, EA might remove them if they take advantage of game flaws. It’s still a good idea to watch for Portal modes that offer a quick way to earn experience points.
Even if you don’t focus on quickly gaining experience, these game modes offer a nice change of pace in Battlefield 6, which is great for longer gaming sessions.
Make Use of Tokens
Battlefield 6 helps you level up quickly with XP tokens. You’ll mainly earn these by completing challenges, but you can also get them as rewards for buying things or if there are any issues with the game.
Double XP tokens do exactly what you’d expect – they greatly increase the experience points you earn, making them ideal for leveling up fast.
Keep in mind that these tokens decrease over time, even when you’re not actively playing. Therefore, it’s best to use them at the beginning of a longer gaming session to get the most out of them.
