2K Studios has revealed that the remastered version of Mafia, titled Mafia: Definitive Edition, is set to launch on August 13. It will be accessible on both Xbox and PC platforms through Game Pass.

Originally launched in 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Mafia: Definitive Edition is essentially a revamped version of the 2002 classic game. The game transports you to the fictitious city of Los Heaven, Illinois during the 1930s. In addition to an enriched narrative, the definitive edition boasts a Free Ride mode that lets players leisurely explore the city without being tied to mandatory missions.
