The highly anticipated *WoW Legion Remix* is now live, bringing players back to the Broken Isles! Many are revisiting this popular *World of Warcraft* expansion and leveling new characters quickly thanks to the Remix’s faster pace. While leveling is already easier and quicker in Remix than in the standard game, players can maximize their experience gains by utilizing the new systems introduced with *Legion Remix*.
As a big fan of *Legion Remix*, I’ve found three things really help you level up quickly. First, the Infinite Research tasks are amazing – you can just keep doing them! Then, playing through the story campaigns is super effective, and finally, tackling the Heroic World Tier challenges gives you a huge boost. Seriously, focus on those three and you’ll fly through the levels!
- Infinite Research Tasks send players out to partake in Legion Remix content and reward boatloads of XP and Bronze upon completion
- Completing zone Campaigns grants a whopping 10% XP boost to your account, while each chapter grants 1%
- Heroic World Tier has the potential to allow for rapid leveling, as long as you can survive and efficiently kill the empowered enemies within
This guide will help you level up quickly in *Legion Remix* by covering three effective methods. We’ll share tips on how to get the best results from Infinite Research, recommend the optimal zones to start with, and discuss whether or not enabling Heroic World Tier is right for you in *WoW Legion Remix*.
Take Full Advantage of Infinite Research Tasks in Legion Remix
Okay, so if you’re trying to level up fast in *Legion Remix*, listen up! Those Infinite Research tasks are seriously amazing for XP. Basically, they’re just daily quests, but you *need* to do them. Make them a priority as you’re pushing to level 80 – they’ll make a huge difference!
Find Eternus at the Infinite Bazaar – he’s the large Infinite Dragon on the east side of the island – and speak with him to view your available quests. He’ll present four options at a time, but keep in mind that some Infinite Research quests are better for earning experience points in *Legion Remix* than others.
Infinite Research tasks vary in difficulty. Some, like defeating powerful enemies in Heroic difficulty, are challenging, while others, such as collecting bronze while flying around the Broken Isles, are quite simple. If you don’t find a task you like, you can often adjust the options Eternus provides.
- Once per completed Infinite Research task, you can talk to Eternus and ask him for a new set of Infinite Research tasks. If you don’t like your original options, or don’t like whatever remains after choosing one, select this to refresh your Infinite Research tasks and fish for something easier.
- You can also ask Eternus to lean towards certain types of tasks over others or ask him to raise the challenge level (which requires you to enter Heroic World Tier). Choose “Open World” tasks over the other options within this sub-menu to raise the chances that Eternus will offer a simple Kill Enemies or Collect Bronze Motes quest.
As you level up and earn more XP, the quests you complete will also give you more XP. At higher levels, especially after level 70 when you unlock a 250% XP bonus, a single quest can fill your XP bar completely.
There’s a daily limit to how many Infinite Research tasks you can start, shown by the boxes next to Eternus. You’ll get two more available tasks each day. You begin by being able to handle 6 quests at a time, but you can increase that to 12, and eventually to a maximum of 18 as you progress.
Complete any Zone Campaign to Get a 10% Account XP Boost

Besides doing Infinite Research, finishing the storylines for each zone in Legion Remix is a fantastic way to earn more XP and level up quickly. Each time you finish a chapter in a zone, you’ll receive an Epoch Memento which permanently boosts your account’s XP gain by 1%.
Each time you finish all the quests in a zone and earn the achievement for completing that zone’s story, you’ll receive an upgraded version of the Perfected Epoch Memento. This item significantly boosts your experience gain – by 10% – for all your characters.
While finishing a zone’s story can take a while, you can complete each one in under two hours if you stick to the main quests (marked with a dark brown exclamation point) and use all available Legion Remix features and bonuses. As you progress, you’ll also earn bronze, experience boosts, and new gear from Caches of Infinite Treasure.
When starting the Legion Remix campaign, Stormheim or Valsharah are generally the best zones to begin with. If you have Skyriding unlocked, Highmountain is also a very quick option. Azsuna is fairly fast to complete, but some players find it a little boring. Suramar is a fantastic zone, but it doesn’t have as many quests packed into it or feel as easy to finish as the other four zones in the Broken Isles.
If You Are Tanking, Turn On Heroic World Tier Until Level 70

Heroic World Tier is a new feature in *WoW Legion Remix* that makes the open world more challenging – affecting quests, enemies, and world quests. Players who choose this harder experience will earn much more XP and Bronze from things like defeating monsters, rare enemies, and elite creatures, beyond what quests offer.
Also, turning on Heroic World Tier lets you tackle more challenging Infinite Research tasks, which reward significantly more experience points.
You’ll earn significantly more experience on the Heroic World Tier – almost three times as much! An enemy that normally gives 400 XP could reward over 1200, depending on your XP bonuses. Plus, defeating Rares and Elites will now give you XP amounts similar to completing quests.
Players focusing on damage (DPS) or healing often struggle in this game mode unless they fully utilize all their abilities and carefully manage their positioning to avoid being overwhelmed. However, tanks will likely find the Heroic difficulty level similar to the normal one, as they have many tools to protect themselves, including defensive skills, self-buffs, and healing abilities.
Players who are skilled with their Damage Dealers (DPS) and Healers can also quickly defeat enemies in Heroic World Tier to earn extra experience and bronze, though Tanks find it a bit easier. However, Heroic World Tier becomes much more challenging after you reach level 70. At that point, you might want to switch to normal Infinite Research or other leveling strategies in *Legion Remix* to finish leveling up the last 10 levels.
