Liberation Peak, a map in *Battlefield 6* set in the mountains of Tajikistan, is a fantastic choice for snipers. It offers high vantage points and limited cover, making it easy to target opponents. To get the most out of this popular map, skilled marksmen should learn the best sniping locations. These ideal spots typically provide a clear view of multiple objectives or effectively cover tight spaces between the rocky terrain.
Players who enjoy sniping in Battlefield 6 should also explore effective Recon class builds. These builds can give them a significant advantage when engaging enemies from long distances.
Liberation Peak: Ridge 13 Map
The map Ridge 13, the biggest version of Liberation Peak used for conquest, Escalation, and large-scale battles, features a prominent rock formation in its center. This area is strategically valuable for both teams, but much of the rock formation is actually outside the playable battle area.
This area also misses a small opening where an objective is located. Snipers on both sides will be focused on this passage.
Remember that aiming down the sight with a sniper rifle will reveal a glare for the enemy to spot.
Objective F is located near a large hill, providing a strong position for snipers. This is particularly useful if the enemy moves towards the center of the map.
Best Sniper Spots In Liberation Peak – North West Spawn

The NATO team starting at Northeast HQ has fewer good places to set up as a sniper because there aren’t many high areas. But, they do have easier access to the large rock formation in the center of the map.
This section’s examples use goals labeled as ‘Escalation,’ which are different from the ‘Conquest’ goals used for the Pax Armata team’s examples. You’ll notice the goal letters are different as a result.
Red Roof In The HQ, Looking At B, C, & E
Within the NATO headquarters area, you’ll find a building with a distinctive red roof. You can climb onto the front wall to reach the lower section of the roof. Because the roof is angled, it provides a good spot for cover during gameplay.
Snipers positioned here have a clear view of Objectives B and C on the left. On the right, they can monitor anyone coming from Objective E through the narrow passage.
Northeast Side Of The Large Rock Formation
Players can reach the northeast side of the rock formation for a fantastic view of the area around C.
Find three fallen trees and go through the two on the left, then begin climbing the rocks. You’ll eventually receive a warning about a dangerous combat area. Continue forward and wait for a chance to drop down onto a level surface.
This area is off-limits, but if you continue to the edge, you’ll find a safe place to snipe. Use the wall on your right for cover, even if it triggers a warning message.
South Side Of The Large Rock Formation
Players can climb the southwest side of the large rock formation to get a clear view of Objective E and the rest of the narrow passage.
If you move up a little further, you’ll also get a great view of the sniper nest.
South Mountain Face, Just Outside The HQ Area
If the NATO team is losing ground, there’s a safe area just beyond the headquarters zone. Head up the path and climb over the rocks to reach a small ridge.
This spot offers snipers a clear view of Objective B, as well as portions of Objective C, the main rock formation, and the passage to the right of it, where Objective E is located. Players positioned here are safe from attacks from the sides because they have their headquarters on one side and a steep mountain on the other.
Best Sniper Spots In Liberation Peak – South East Spawn

Players who start in the southeastern part of the map as Pax Armata generally have better options for sniper positions, particularly if they’re forced to retreat and play defensively.
This section’s examples use objectives from the Conquest game mode. Keep in mind that these objectives are labeled with letters, which is different from the letter system used for the NATO team in Escalation.
Sniper’s Nest Above Objective F
Just south of Objective F, there’s a great sniper spot – many consider it the best in the game. From there, snipers have a clear view of most of Objective F, the entirety of Objective E, the sides of Objective D, the large rock formation in the center of the map, and a portion of the area around Objective C.
It is also covered to protect snipers from aerial threats.
A Deploy Beacon would be really helpful in locations like this for quickly getting back into the action, but it’s only available to Assault class players, not Recon.
Sniper’s Nest In The Southern HQ
If Pax Armata is forced to retreat and defend Objectives F and E, there’s another sniper position inside the Headquarters. While it’s not as elevated as the one near Objective F, it offers better cover and a clear view of Objective E.
Southwest Side Across From The Large Rock Formation
To protect the small space near the big rock where Objective C is located, Pax Armata snipers can climb the hill on the left side. Reaching this vantage point means they’ll need to quickly move through areas where they’ve been told to fall back and rejoin the fight.
This position will give you a clear view of Objective B and allow you to watch for NATO forces advancing on Objective C. Be sure to protect your right side, though, as the enemy might try to flank you by going around the large rock formation in the center.
Roof Southwest Of Objective D With A View Of Objective B
Snipers can position themselves on the roof of a building located southwest of Objective D. From there, they’ll have a clear view of anyone approaching from Objective B, and also of people moving onto the large rock in the center of the area.
This location offers little protection, particularly from attacks from the air. It’s best to move quickly and not remain here for an extended period.
