Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

As a seasoned Elden Ring adventurer with countless hours spent traversing the Lands Between, I can confidently guide you through the labyrinthine paths to discover these elusive Sacred Tears.

In the game Elden Ring, Flasks are crucial survival items as they enhance the capacity for healing. Together with Golden Seeds, they serve as a sort of safety net against errors that excessively reduce your health bar. Unlike Golden Seeds, Flasks are more readily available since they’re all found in the overworld churches scattered throughout the game. Here is a list of the churches where you can find them:

  • Third Church of Marika
  • Callu Baptismal Church
  • Church of Pilgrimage
  • Fourth Church of Marika
  • Church of Irith
  • Bellum Church
  • Church of Inhibition
  • Church of the Plague
  • Second Church of Marika
  • Stormcaller Church
  • First Church of Marika
  • Church of Repose

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share some insights about the intriguing ruins marked on our map. These structures, often resembling rectangles or squares with domes or circular interiors, are reminiscent of ancient churches – the sacred sites for Sacred Tears. However, it’s essential to note that not all these ruins can be easily reached by just following the road or being casual explorers. Torrent might lead us to some, but others may require a more deliberate approach. To ensure you don’t miss out on any of these sacred sites, I strongly encourage you to read further for detailed instructions on how to access these churches in Sacred Tears.

Limgrave & Weeping Peninsula

Third Church of Marika

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

Reaching the Third Church of Marika is quite straightforward. Beginning from Agheel Lake North Site of Grace, head southeast on the main road. After crossing the bridge, take the road that splits off towards the north, and then continue following this road. You’ll likely spot the church along your journey as it’s not easy to miss.

Callu Baptismal Church

The Callu Baptismal Church stands on the Weeping Peninsula, nestled within a forest that borders the southern edge of a major road near where the South of the Lookout Tower Site of Grace can be found. This church is adjacent to the Ailing Village, populated by feeble adversaries. Navigating to the church and acquiring the sacred tear is effortless, as combat is unnecessary in this case.

Church of Pilgrimage

On the same route, you’ll find the South side of the Lookout Tower Site of Grace. Continue westward over a suspension bridge, and then head north once you reach the hills. If you keep going up the road towards the hill, you’ll eventually arrive at the Church of Pilgrimage. It’s quite easy to pick up the Sacred Tear from there.

Fourth Church of Marika

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

To the southwest of the Pilgrimage Church lies the Fourth Church of Marika. This church is situated not far from the field where a massive, wandering tomb inhabits. Be cautious as you approach, as Mausoleum Knights are stationed at the entrance to the Fourth Church of Marika. To avoid drawing their attention, consider approaching the church ruins from a different angle.

Liurnia Of The Lakes

Church of Irith

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

Once players have successfully vanquished Godrick or explored Stormveil Castle leading up to the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace, they will find a church located to the southwest without a roof. Enter the church and obtain the Sacred Tear. Don’t forget to engage in conversation with the sorcerer inside for hints on reaching Raya Lucaria Academy.

Bellum Church

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

From the East Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace, head northeast to find Bellum Church. If you possess the Glintstone Key, simply utilize the blue teleportation barriers instead of riding Torrent eastward across Liurnia of the Lakes for a quicker route. Bellum Church is located near the fringe of the small forest that borders the main road.

Church of Inhibition

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

Without a doubt, the Church of Inhibition is quite challenging to access. To reach it, first make your way from Bellum Church Site of Grace, then head in an easterly direction. Keep an eye out for a gentle slope ascending a hill, ensuring you steer clear of any catapult fire. Follow this slope as it leads you northeast, and then turn southeast close to the edge.

Continue forward until a mysterious tower appears on the horizon, and maintain your pace; rush past that tower, then make your way through the woods heading towards the southern direction, where you’ll find a village inhabited by strange, erratic beings.

Adventurers should make their way into the village and search for another incline that leads over the walls towards a hill to the north-east. This region is teeming with perilous foes, so it’s best to gallop past them en route to the Church of Inhibition situated atop the hill.

A powerful NPC invader might also appear as players approach the church.

Caelid – Church Of The Plague

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

In the realm of Caelid, there’s a single church belonging to Marika, and it can be quite challenging to access due to its secluded location. However, the quickest way to reach it is by leaping from Fort Faroth. Here’s how to get to Fort Faroth, even if your character level is low:

  1. Head to the Third Church of Marika.
  2. Step outside to the north, into the pond, and look for a teleporter among the plants.
  3. This will take players to the Bestial Sanctum (there’s a Site of Grace inside).
  4. Head south from the Bestial Sanctum and ignore all the enemies (even the dragon on the bridge).
  5. Keep heading south until a Minor Erdtress is visible (circle around to the left of the Erdtree to avoid the mean Erdtree Avatar boss), look for a Spirit Spring jumping pad near the tree.
  6. Jump up and head to the Site of Grace in front of Fort Faroth.

Starting from the Site of Grace at the fort, walk towards the southeast direction until you reach a spot with a Spirit Spring in view. Instead of taking damage, use the Spirit Spring as a landing spot. Once you’re there, look for the Church of the Plague which should be clearly visible from that elevated position.

Altus Plateau

Second Church of Marika

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

As a dedicated adventurer, I’ve found myself standing at the threshold of an exciting new journey, only possible if I’ve already gained access to the Grand Lift of Dectus. To unlock this marvel, I simply needed to secure the medallion from two strategic locations: Fort Faroth in Caelid and Fort Haight within Limgrave.

Starting from the Grand Lift of Dectus when it ascends, players should travel along the main pathway until they reach the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace. North of this junction lies the Second Church of Marika.

Stormcaller Church

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

Although Stormcaller Church seems reachable from Altus Highway Junction Grace, it’s actually situated atop a hill and not easily accessible. To get there, players should travel south from the northern section of Altus Plateau. A straightforward route is illustrated in the image above, commencing from the Outer Wall Battleground Site of Grace.

As someone who has faced countless battles and traversed treacherous terrains, I can confidently say that entering Leyndell’s fortress won’t be a walk in the park. But if you find yourself short on time, I suggest you dash past those relentless enemies, using your wits and agility to navigate the obstacles ahead. After all, experience has taught me that sometimes the fastest way forward is not always the easy one, but it’s often the most effective.

Mountaintops Of The Giants

First Church of Marika

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

The Church of Marika is situated right on the southern border of a vast frozen lake, which lies to the northeast of the Mountains of the Giants. Adventurers can navigate their way to the lake by following the frozen river. However, do remember to exercise caution as there are colossal lobsters roaming outside the church.

Church of Repose

Elden Ring: All Sacred Tear Locations for Flask Upgrades

The Church of Peace is located at the most distant point on the map where the Sacred Tear can be found, and it’s situated right outside the battlefield of the Fire Giant boss. To find it, go to the southeastern part of the frozen plateau once you exit the Fire Giant arena. Keep in mind that there might be an invader at this location if you haven’t defeated the Fire Giant. As usual, exercise caution!
