Alright, folks, let me tell you a tale from my recent adventure in the land of Elden Ring. I’ve been through thick and thin, slain beasts of nightmares, and even danced with the devil himself, Radahn. But nothing quite prepared me for the intricate dance I did with Fia, the Deathbed Companion.
In the game Elden Ring, Lichdragon Fortissax is a boss of legendary status. This dragon can be confronted at the conclusion of Fia’s storyline and serves as an optional fight. Overcoming it opens up an alternate ending within Elden Ring. Victors will also receive Runes, a currency, as well as two unique items: one grants access to purchase Incantations from Enia, the Finger Reader.
is a huge four-winged dragon that attacks with lightning. Reaching it requires traveling to an underground area. Players have to go through at least two bosses before clashing with Lichdragon Fortissax.
Where To Find Lichdragon Fortissax Secret Boss In Elden Ring
In the heart of the enigmatic depths of Deeproot Depths, hidden within Elden Ring, lies the elusive secret boss known as Lichdragon Fortissax.
As a gamer, I kick off Fia’s storyline first. Then, I hand over the broken dagger to D, the Hunter of the Dead. Following that, I journey to Nokron and conquer the formidable Valiant Gargoyle boss. After defeating him, a mysterious coffin appears in his chamber. Upon interacting with it, I’m transported to an obscure location – the Deeproot Depths, a hidden area waiting to be explored.
Upon reaching Deeproot Depths, make your way towards the west, find and ignite the Great Waterfall Crest – Site of Lost Grace. Summon Torrent thereafter, continue westward, and then:
- Sprint to the giant tree root that connects two platforms.
- Jump on the root then keep following its path until players reach the other side.
- Move northwest and activate the Deeproot Depths bonfire. A Palm Reader NPC should be sitting near a cliff.
Next, head towards the northeast direction and traverse a slim pathway that eventually takes you to a quaint structure resembling a charming garden house. Grab the Deeproot Depths map fragment along the way, then continue your journey southwest towards the “Nameless Eternal City” Site of Lost Grace.
Afterward, proceed south by passing through the large gateway, ensuring you defeat the knight, as failure to do so will result in them pursuing relentlessly. Subsequently, travel east, ascend the intertwining tree roots, and continue along its course.
After the main path splits into two, choose the route on your right side. Follow this path until it comes to an end. Then, leap onto the damaged root located on the left and proceed forward until you spot a Site of Lost Grace beneath you.
Overlooking the Forgotten Sanctuary, descend and ignite the bonfire named “Across the Roots”. Then, journey northwest towards an expansive open space. Within this area, you’ll find Fia residing. However, prior to engaging with her, a battle against Fia’s Champions awaits as part of the boss fight in Elden Ring.
As an ardent admirer, I triumphantly vanquish my foes, then bestow upon them the chilling Cursemark of Death. Following this, I tirelessly engage in a conversation with Fia, exhausting all she has to say. Subsequently, I revisit the area and tenderly stir the slumbering Fia to delve into her dreamscape.
Indoors, the tarnished character will engage in a battle against the Lichdragon Fortissax. Once victorious over the dragon, players will be rewarded with the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince, which enables them to unlock the Age of Duskborn Ending.
Furthermore, slaying the dragon rewards you with 90,000 Runes and the Memento of Lichdragon. Use this item at the Roundtable Hold to acquire two abilities: the Spear of Fortissax’s Lightning and Death’s Lightning.
How To Trigger Fia’s Quest In Elden Ring
1. Among the various Non-Player Characters (NPCs) you’ll meet at Roundtable Hold after defeating the initial Shardbearer, there’s a character named Fia, the Deathbed Companion. She resides in a room adjacent to where Smithing Master Hewg is stationed. Initially, Fia will only extend her services when you permit her to hold onto you.
In Elden Ring,
How To Get The Cursemark Of Death In Elden Ring
In the course of her journey, Fia receives the Artifact of Demise, a vital tool essential for confronting the Lichdragon Fortissax. Obtaining this artifact is no simple task; players must make significant strides in Ranni the Sorceress’s quest before they can lay their hands on it.
Embarking on an unmissable adventure, I’d highly recommend delving into Caria Manor within Liurnia of the Lakes and overcoming the formidable Royal Knight Loretta. This quest is crucial because Ranni, a key character, resides within Ranni’s Rise, which can only be reached from Loretta’s boss domain.
1. After that, Tarnished needs to journey to Caelid and activate the Radahn Festival. Overcoming General Radahn will grant access to Nokron, the Eternal City, enabling the retrieval of the Fingerslayer Blade. Deliver The Nokron Treasure to Ranni to receive an item which can be utilized within the Carian Study Hall to invert it. In the end, travel up to the highest level of the Divine Tower of Liurnia to acquire the Cursemark of Death.
In Elden Ring, the final move is to present the Cursemark to Fia following the defeat of the Fia’s Champions boss at the Deeproot Depths. This action enables the Deathbed Companion to join Godwyn and grants players access to her dream, where they can engage in combat with the secret boss, Lichdragon Fortissax.
