Overwatch 2’s Stadium mode is getting even more exciting with the addition of new heroes, maps, and ways to play. The latest update introduces gadgets, which give each hero unique new abilities.
Stadium now offers Gadgets, a new type of item you can buy in the shop alongside weapons, abilities, and survival items. Like other items, Gadgets give you stat boosts, but they also have special active abilities you can use during matches. These abilities can do things like push enemies back, or even provide powerful benefits like healing or removing negative effects.

Best Overwatch 2 Stadium Gadgets

The ideal gadgets to purchase will vary depending on which hero you play in Overwatch 2, but some are useful for almost everyone.
The Kitsune Charm is the best gadget in the game. It essentially gives you Kiriko’s Protection Suzu ability, letting you cleanse yourself and become briefly invulnerable every 45 seconds. It also provides 50 shields and significantly shortens the duration of any harmful effects. It’s a really powerful item.
The Colossus Core i is a great choice for tank builds. It has a short 45-second cooldown and makes you bigger, increasing your damage reduction and maximum health – though it slightly reduces your damage output and healing. Plus, it provides a base 40% resistance to knockbacks and slows, which can be very effective against teams that rely on controlling the battlefield.

As a player who loves building damage-dealing characters, I’m really impressed with Super Serum. It’s a fantastic item overall! Basically, every 45 seconds, it gives you a huge 50% boost to how quickly you attack, though it does slightly reduce your damage output and healing. But honestly, the 10% increase to attack speed and weapon lifesteal it provides means it works really well with pretty much any damage-focused build I try.
If you’re looking for a good value, Field Support is your best bet. For just 4,000, you get Soldier 76’s Biotic Field, which heals allies in an area. It recharges every 20 seconds, and the healing zone lasts for 5 seconds, meaning you’ll have a short wait between uses.

Gadgets are a recent addition to *Overwatch 2*, and players are still discovering how to best use them, especially with powerful heroes in Stadium mode. When used effectively, they can significantly boost strong Stadium damage-dealing strategies.
