The anticipation is palpable, especially considering the tantalizing teaser we’ve been given about its release date. September, you say? Well, that’s just around the corner, isn’t it?
It’s possible that we’ll soon provide a more precise timeframe for the launch of Shattered Space, the primary expansion for Starfield.
As reported by Odahfield on Twitter, the game Shattered Space is set to be launched in September. It’s anticipated that a release date trailer revealing the exact launch date will drop on August 20th, potentially during or around the Gamescom Opening Night Live event.
Apart from revealing when Shattered Space will be launched, it’s anticipated that Bethesda will also unveil the upcoming expansion, Starborn, slated for release in 2025.
If the predicted launch of Starborn in 2025 is correct, then it aligns with Todd Howard’s proposed yearly additions to the Starfield universe.
He mentioned during a June interview, “For how much longer it lasts, ideally for a very extended period, but we’re already preparing for the next one that follows.”
So far, specifics about the Shattered Space expansion are still under wraps. What we do know is that it will be a fresh chapter in the game’s narrative.
