As a seasoned Rocket League enthusiast with over a decade under my belt, I can’t help but feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins as I read about the Champions Road Open Tournaments! With a total prize pool of over $435,000, these events promise to be the ultimate test of skill and strategy for players from all around the globe.


Before the Rocket League World Championship 2024, competitors can participate in exciting esports matches powered by rockets, as part of the Champions Road Open Tournaments that are soon to be held. There will be three additional tournaments, each featuring individual (1v1), doubles (2v2), and team (3v3) competitions from August 23 to September 8. The cumulative prize money for all these events exceeds $435,000 and will be distributed across regions such as North America (NA), Europe (EU), South America (SAM), Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Oceania (OCE), Asia-Pacific (APC), and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA).

Rocket League Open Tournaments Format and Schedule

Upcoming between August 23rd and 25th, the “Champions Road 1v1 Open” tournament is set to take place, offering thrilling one-versus-one matches in the “1v1 Duel: Soccer” mode. The competition will employ a double-elimination bracket system, with an impressive prize pool of $84,050 at stake. Registration for players ends on August 18th, giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that from August 30 to September 1, I’ll be participating in the Champions Road 2v2 Open! This epic tournament will see teams go head-to-head in the electrifying 2v2 Duel: Soccer game mode. The competition will follow a double-elimination bracket system, ensuring that only the best duos emerge victorious.

Starting from September 6, the Champions Road 3v3 Open tournament will commence and conclude on September 8, right before the Rocket League World Championship 2024. Teams will participate in the 3v3 Standard: Rumble game mode, progressing through a system of double-elimination. Registration for this event must be completed by September 1.
