How to Rejoin Your Friends Mid-Game in PEAK
It’s frustrating to lose connection during a climb in *PEAK*, and it impacts your entire team. The mountains present harsh conditions – from freezing winds in Alpine to scorching heat in Mesa – so everyone needs to stay connected. If you unexpectedly disconnect, don’t panic.
First, ensure your lobby is set to allow friends to join. You can do this by going to the game’s main menu, then Settings, and selecting the General tab. Look for the ‘Lobby Mode’ option and choose ‘Open to Friends’ so your friends can invite you to play.
First, make sure your friend is on your Steam friends list. Once you’re in the game lobby, have them invite you by pressing the ESC key, clicking “Invite Friends,” and choosing your name. You’ll receive a notification – accept it to rejoin the match. You can also invite friends to join you using the same steps.
When you start playing with a friend, you’ll appear at the last campfire they visited.
