As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen more maps than I care to remember in the Call of Duty series. The latest leak for Black Ops 6 has piqued my interest, especially considering the diverse locations we’re about to explore – from ancient ruins in Babylon to a party room in Gala!

It appears that a significant leak about the upcoming release of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” on October 25 has allegedly disclosed nine different maps where players will engage in multiplayer combat. As of now, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” hasn’t given fans much insight into its multiplayer aspect. Most of the game reveals so far have been centered around the single-player campaign.

In the single-player mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the narrative unfolds in the early ’90s, following the storyline of Black Oops Cold War and the timeline of the mission from Black Ops 2. The game brings back characters like Russell Adler and Frank Woods who are grappling with a treacherous faction within the CIA and the Gulf War. The single-player campaign appears to recreate an experience reminiscent of earlier Call of Duty games, and it’s reasonable to expect that the multiplayer mode will deliver a similar experience too.

Although an official unveiling of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s multiplayer mode hasn’t happened yet, clips from what appears to be a PS4 test build have surfaced online. These leaked videos showcase nine potential maps for the game, which include Babylon, Derelict, Gala, Pit, Protocol, Rewind, SCUD, Skyline, and Stakeout. The map Derelict is set in a train yard, Protocol takes place on a small island base, while Skyline is situated atop a rooftop or cliffside building. Given the leaked images, it’s speculated that Skyline might fit the role of Nuketown/Shipment/Rust-style maps for Black Ops 6, but this is mere conjecture at this stage. The SCUD map seems to revolve around a large satellite dish, while Pit, as suggested by its name, is based in a pit. Babylon is set in a jungle area with ancient ruins, Gala is located in a party room, Stakeout appears to be inside a house or apartment, and Rewind is designed around a strip mall.

Let’s clarify that the list you see isn’t the complete collection of maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Since this information is from a testing phase, it’s important to note that not all these maps might make it into the final game. From an official perspective, we only know that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will offer 12 maps for 6v6 at launch, plus four Strike maps which can be used for both 6v6 and 2v2, making a total of 16 launch maps.

It’s a given that additional maps will be incorporated into “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” progressively. It’s quite probable that the much-loved Nuketown map will make an appearance at some point, but it’s uncertain whether it will be included in the game upon release or introduced as part of its later content updates.
