The L110 is the first Light Machine Gun available in Battlefield 6, and many players will likely use it early in the game. Light Machine Guns work best with the Support Class because they don’t slow you down, and you can aim down sights (ADS) more quickly.
The L110 becomes a really strong choice for holding down positions when you add different attachments and accessories, making it arguably the best Light Machine Gun in *Battlefield 6*. This guide will show you what the weapon is capable of and suggest the best equipment to use, both when you’re starting out and as you progress in the game.

The game features eight Light Machine Guns (LMGs), and the L110 is unique because it begins with a large, 100-round magazine. It also boasts the third-highest rate of fire at 720 rounds per minute, allowing you to quickly deal significant damage. This combination of high rate of fire and large magazine makes it excellent for suppressing enemies. The game also includes ‘Bullet Storm’ challenges that require you to use LMGs to suppress opponents – it might take practice, but learning to effectively shoot around enemies to provide cover for your teammates will steadily complete the challenge.
This LMG has a very slow reload speed, which is expected given its large magazine. It starts with a projectile speed of 780, which isn’t bad and can be increased with attachments. However, it suffers from significant recoil and bullet spread during sustained fire, making it ineffective in close-range combat.

To start, focus on upgrading your barrel. The default 349MM SB barrel has a muzzle velocity of 780, but switching to the 465MM LB barrel will boost that by almost 200, making it much easier to aim and shoot quickly. Also, equip the Flashlight and the 50 MW Green Laser – both improve your hipfire accuracy, which is really helpful in close-range fights.
For an underbarrel grip, the 6H64 Vertical Grip is your best choice – it really helps control recoil without slowing you down too much. Stick with the standard magazine size, though. The 200-round belt box costs 55 points, and that’s too much to spend on just ammo when you only have 100 points to work with.
Using Hollow Point bullets greatly increases the damage you deal with headshots. And, the PVQ-31 4.00X scope lets you clearly see and hit enemies from far away, which is especially useful when they’re trying to capture objectives on any map.
