What to Do with Webs in Pokemon Legends Z-A

In Pokémon Legends Z-A, players will encounter obstacles like webs and other environmental features that can either block their path or help them move forward. While things like boulders and purple goo often block ground-level routes, webs and cocoons are specifically found on the rooftops of Lumiose City.

When you first see a web or cocoon on the rooftops in Pokemon Legends Z-A, you might assume you need to use a Fire-type move to get rid of it. However, dealing with webs is actually much easier than that.

What Do Pokemon Legends Z-A Webs Do?

In Pokemon Legends Z-A, you’ll notice cocoons and webs all over the rooftops of Lumiose City. They’re usually located at the edges of buildings, facing other structures. If you destroy a cocoon, a large spider web will quickly spread out below, connecting to another rooftop nearby.

In Pokemon Legends Z-A, after a spider web appears, players can walk across it to reach the top of the building it’s connected to. The webs stay in place permanently, creating a lasting shortcut to that rooftop once activated.

While exploring rooftops in Pokemon Legends Z-A, be sure to look for white cocoons. These are essential because they create web bridges – the only way to reach the tops of some buildings.

Create Spider Webs & Cross Rooftops By Breaking Cocoons

As you explore Lumiose City in Pokemon Legends Z-A, you’ll encounter a few roadblocks. These include boulders you can destroy with Rock Smash, sticky purple goo you can wash away with Water-type moves, and thorny vines you can burn with Fire-type moves.

In Pokemon Legends Z-A, players can destroy cocoon webs by simply targeting them and using any attack from their Pokemon. It doesn’t matter what type of attack it is – even Fire-type moves will work! As long as your Pokemon hits the cocoon with a damaging move, the web will break open, creating a bridge to a nearby rooftop.

Make sure you wait for the bridge to fully appear before crossing. If you try to walk on it while it’s still forming, your character might fall through the floor and into the street or alley.
