As a Pokémon fan, I’m really excited about Pokémon Legends: Z-A! It looks like evolving certain Pokémon won’t be as simple as just leveling up. For example, Spritzee is one of those Pokémon that needs a special method to evolve – it’s not just a straightforward process, which is cool!
Most Pokémon evolve by gaining levels or using items like Evolution Stones. However, Spritzee is unique – you’ll need to trade with another player to evolve it.
Want to fill out your Pokédex and finish Mable’s Research Tasks? Here’s a simple guide on how to evolve Spritzee.
How to Evolve Spritzee Into Aromatisse in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Spritzee evolves into Aromatisse only when you trade it while it’s holding a Sachet. There’s no other way to make it evolve.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is different from the previous game, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, by reintroducing Pokémon trading for evolutions. Arceus didn’t have online features and used one-time-use items for evolutions that normally require trading. Aromatisse is just one of the many Pokémon that can now evolve through trading in the new game.
Simply trading isn’t enough to evolve Spritzee – it also needs to be holding a Sachet. Luckily, Pokémon Legends: Z-A makes trade evolutions much easier, with community trade codes helping you find partners to trade with quickly.
Can You Catch Aromatisse in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?
Aromatisse isn’t available to catch in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. You can only get one by evolving a Spritzee.
As a Pokémon fan, I’ve noticed a lot of trade evolution Pokémon are still catchable later on, even after you beat the main story. But Aromatisse is different! It’s one of those Pokémon you can’t find just wandering around in the wild, and it doesn’t even show up as a special Alpha Pokémon. It’s really frustrating because it means trading is the only way to get one!
The new Mega Dimension DLC could introduce Aromatisse as a possible spawn, though it’s probably not going to happen.
Okay, so I’m trying to catch ’em all, and Aromatisse is proving tricky! You can’t evolve it the normal way – you have to trade to get one. The good news is, I don’t necessarily need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to do it; trading with a friend locally works just fine, which is a relief!
