Steam’s Points Shop usually requires a lot of points to get bundles, but right now they’re giving away a free one called Immersive Storylines. It’s part of the Immersive Storylines festival, which started on October 21st and ends November 3rd. The festival and bundle both highlight games and visual novels with strong, captivating stories. The bundle includes five special cosmetic items, like an animated avatar. During the festival’s launch, a technical error briefly showed the Immersive Storylines game profile as a paid item in the Steam Points Shop. If you’re having trouble finding it, click the ‘Browse’ button in Steam’s new menu, go to the Points Shop, and then the ‘Game Profile’ tab. Look for the Immersive Storylines bundle – it has a golden theme.
The festival is a great place to find deals on popular Steam games, especially visual novels and immersive sims, with some available at very low prices. It also showcases interactive movies like Love Is All Around and Breakout 13. Importantly, the Immersive Storylines Game Profile can be earned separately – you don’t need to buy anything or even visit the festival page to get it.
