As a seasoned space-faring adventurer with countless hours logged across numerous galaxies, I must say that this recent mod for Starfield’s Tracker Alliance has truly caught my attention. Having dabbled in various factions throughout Bethesda’s expansive universe, I can attest to the allure of a well-crafted faction expansion – and Nell Drakebane’s Faction Story Expansion delivers just that.

A dedicated fan of the game “Starfield” has introduced a modification enhancing the Tracker Alliance faction present in Akila City. The Tracker Alliance is a band of bounty hunters from “Starfield”, often overlooked by fans, but this mod enriches and expands their storyline.

In the vein of other Bethesda games I’ve loved, Starfield allows me as a player to align myself with distinct factions, each offering captivating narratives. Among these are the United Colonies, Freestar Collective, and the Crimson Fleet. The former two boast militaristic and space pirate themes respectively, while the latter is deeply embedded in the game’s main storyline – the Constellation. As a gamer, I can also recruit companions to join my journey, such as Marika Boros from the Freestar Collective, Mathis Castillo of the Crimson Fleet, and Gideon Aker from the United Colonies. To enhance my gaming experience, I’ve chosen to modify the Tracker Alliance, making it more appealing for lower-level players by tweaking certain aspects.

Recently, Modder Nell Drakebane shared the Faction Story Expansion mod, centering on the Trackers Alliance. This “quest-like” addition is designed for characters approximately level 10, and it kicks off on Tau-ceti VIII-b where players can discover a mysterious item called “slate of Bounty 01” inside a box. This artifact will unveil the initial mission and the location for a bounty hunt in the Starfield. Each bounty culminates in a room offering credit rewards and a few items, with a new bounty mission then available to start. The mod also includes a Trackers facility, a lush greenhouse filled with plants, and a food hall stocked with complimentary consumables. The Tracker Alliance mod is meant to be explored prior to the main quests of the Trackers Alliance.

This Mod Improves Starfield’s Trackers Alliance Faction

While the Trackers Alliance mod includes some NPCs, the interactions are minimal due to coding restrictions. Nell Drakebane has expressed interest in making vendor NPCs and improving their dialogue but stated that it will take some time to optimize. The Trackers Alliance mod has been downloaded just over 500 times in seven days, making it one of the freshest Starfield mods. The modder also recommends players with companions use the Improved Follower Behavior mod from Deebz96. This is because sneaking will be necessary, and companions in the vanilla Starfield client often change the Sneak status of a player.

Even though Bethesda plans to launch the Starfield Shattered Space DLC in the fall, mods such as the Tracker Alliance can keep players engaged and patient. Given that the Tracker Alliance mod has undergone several updates, it’s likely to receive ongoing support.
