Unlike Joy Boy, who aimed for kingship but didn’t succeed, Luffy will ascend to the throne and achieve what Joy Boy couldn’t accomplish. While it’s already known that Luffy aims to be Pirate King, his ultimate goal transcends this title. He intends to liberate the entire world and host a grand feast with its inhabitants. This act of liberation will elevate Luffy to a position resembling a World King, as he will be the most free among all. This prediction gains more credence now that Vegapunk has revealed the connection between possessing One Piece and controlling the entire world.
In essence, Luffy will liberate everyone and gain their respect, effectively emulating what Joy Boy couldn’t achieve. However, Luffy might not embrace the title and likely dislike it intensely. Yet, despite his feelings, Luffy is destined to be the embodiment of freedom among all beings, a figure that could be considered a king in spirit, even if he himself rejects such a title.
