Scopely is always finding new ways to make Monopoly GO more fun for its players. This season brings exciting additions like collectible items – such as the McDonald’s Fries Shield – and a new album called Cozy Comforts. The biggest change is the introduction of the Round Board! Instead of the usual square game board, Monopoly GO now features a circular board that feels both fresh and familiar.

What is Monopoly GO’s Round Board?

The Round Board in Monopoly GO works similarly to the standard board – you roll the dice, move your piece, and construct landmarks. The main difference is that you move around a circle instead of following a straight path.

Round Boards are special, limited-time boards that change with the seasons. Right now, the ‘Cozy Comforts’ season has four different boards to play, each with unique rewards and artwork. The main objective is to construct all the buildings on each board. When you finish a board, you’ll earn cool prizes like new emoji and exclusive stickers.

Each Round Board comes with its own set of matching stickers. For instance, if you complete the “Halloween Hollow” board, it connects to sticker set #11 – Halloween Hollow, found in the Cozy Comforts album. Completing a board earns you a themed pack that includes one sticker from that specific set.

Each time you complete a game board, you earn new stickers, bringing you closer to completing sets and winning larger prizes. After finishing a board, you’ll unlock the next seasonal one, allowing you to collect even more rewards and ultimately complete all four seasonal boards.

The second design in the Cozy Comforts collection is called “Autumn View” and is part of Set #12, also named “Autumn View.”

Seasonal Boards don’t last forever! Once the season ends, any progress you haven’t finished and rewards you haven’t collected will be lost. Make sure to complete them quickly to get all the sticker packs and bonuses they offer.

How to Play Monopoly GO’s Round Board

Okay, so the Round Board in Monopoly GO is actually really cool – it’s pretty easy to pick up, even easier than the regular Monopoly board, and honestly, way more fun! Don’t worry, even though it looks different, a lot of the stuff you already know about how the game works still applies. You’ll need to unlock your first Seasonal Board before you can start playing, though.

Once the new season starts and you complete your current game board, you’ll automatically receive a new seasonal board. This applies no matter your level, as long as you haven’t already unlocked that seasonal board.

Following the initial board, special seasonal boards show up every ten boards. The circular game board creates a more fluid experience, and the changing seasons encourage you to collect limited-time rewards before the event is over.
