Everything we know about Black Ops 6 Liberty Falls Zombies map

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming Black Ops 6 Zombies map, Liberty Falls, has me quite intrigued. The setting in a West Virginian town during the daytime, complete with familiar establishments like a Video Store and a Church, brings back nostalgic memories of my early zombie-slaying adventures.

In simpler terms, Liberty Falls serves as a circular map for the Zombies mode in Black Ops 6, and although the developers have not disclosed everything about it so far, there are some official details and hints available for exploration.

Following the big Terminus unveiling on August 8, developers also dished out a few tidbits about Liberty Falls. They gave us insights into its environment, narrative, and even showed a brief video of the map which hinted at the return of a popular Wonder Weapon.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty Falls map setting & size

Liberty Falls is situated in a quaint town of West Virginia, where the sun shines brightly during the day. Unfortunately, this peaceful town has been overtaken by a horde of zombies. The game’s round-based map will showcase establishments like a Video Store, Motel, Gas Station, Bowling Alley, Comic Shop, and Church. Compared to the expansive Terminus map, it is relatively smaller in size.

Although the map might appear straightforward, players should anticipate discovering numerous hidden mysteries. Additionally, this updated version of the map will include the intricate Dark Aether dimension, increasing both its scale and complexity.

Liberty Falls Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies

In the quick sneak peek of Liberty Falls at the end of the Terminus gameplay trailer, there was a glimpse of the Jet Pack Weapon, indicating that it might serve as the map’s special weapon in-game. This Jet Pack Weapon is known as the Wonder Weapon for Black Ops 2’s TranZit map, and this will be its first appearance since 2012.

The weapon in question is often referred to as the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23, and it eliminates adversaries by drawing them towards its spinning blades.

In the game TranZit, you created the Jet Gun rather than selecting it as a weapon. It was kept as a Buildable item, similar to the Zombie Shield. Whether this will apply to Liberty Falls in Black Ops 6 Zombies is still uncertain. However, once we learn how to acquire the Jet Gun in Liberty Falls, we’ll make sure to share that information with you.

On this map, there’ll be a distinct collection of symbols unlike those used by Terminus, who are rumored to be a special task force dispatched to probe into the Dark Aether incident in West Virginia.

Will Liberty Falls have an Easter egg?

Indeed, it has been verified that the game, Liberty Falls, will feature its own primary storyline. This narrative will center around the Dark Aether outbreak and an additional, concurrent dimensional fissure. Towards the close of the teaser trailer for Liberty Falls, you’ll notice a Dark Aether rift and the dimension itself.

Is Liberty Falls a TranZit Town remake?

The information available about the map isn’t comprehensive enough for a precise response, but it’s likely to feature themes similar to those found in the “Town” level from TranZit Zombies in Black Ops 2. However, we should note that while it may share some similarities with Mob of the Dead, it is not expected to be a direct remake of that map.

It’s clear that Liberty Falls and TranZit have been designated to possess the same type of Wonder Weapon, specifically the Jet Gun. However, it remains uncertain if the architecture or overall structure of Liberty Falls will match or resemble that of TranZit.

Certain individuals have mused over the possibility that the church in Liberty Falls might share similarities with the one from Black Ops 2’s Buried map; however, this theory remains unverified, so approach it with caution.
