As a seasoned gamer with decades of zombie-slaying experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the return of classic perks like Jugger-Nog and Quick Revive in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies mode is music to my ears. But what truly excites me is the new kid on the block – Melee Macchiato! The thought of replacing my trusty gun’s butt with a powerful punch that sends enemies flying is just too enticing to resist.

The latest installment of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” has unveiled fresh details about its Zombie mode, focusing on the eight perks that players can utilize in the game. This time around, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” Zombies is harkening back to the original cooperative gameplay style by adopting a round-based system, which has long been requested by fans.

In the upcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” Zombies mode, it’s expected that familiar elements will reappear, given its roots in past versions. One such element is Perk-A-Cola, a purchaseable item from machines that grants players various enhancements and advantages. These Perk Machines can be found scattered across the Zombies maps, with players retaining them until they’re knocked down. At this point, they begin losing their Perk Machines one by one until a teammate picks them up. While most perks in “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” Zombies are carried over from previous games, there is a brand-new one added to the mix.

In the upcoming game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Activision has announced that classic Zombie perks are making a comeback. These include favorites like Jugger-Nog, Quick Revive, Speed Cola, Stamin-Up, PhD Flopper, Deadshot Daiquiri, and Elemental Pop. Each of these functions much the same way as they did in previous titles. For instance, Jugger-Nog provides players with a substantial health boost, while Speed Cola allows for faster reloading. The new perk for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode is Melee Macchiato, which substitutes the end of a player’s gun with a powerful punch that sends enemies soaring.

All Black Ops 6 Zombies Perks and What They Do

  • Jugger-Nog: Increase maximum health by 100.
  • Quick Revive: Reduce the health regen delay time by 50%. Reduce the time it takes to revive an ally by 50%.
  • Speed Cola: Increase reload and armor replating speed bonus by 30%.
  • Stamin-Up: Increase movement speed.
  • PhD Flopper: Immunity to all self-inflicted damage and status effects. Dive to prone triggers an explosion, which increases the higher you fall. Immunity from fall damage while diving to prone.
  • Deadshot Daiquiri: Aiming down sight moves to enemy critical location. Increase enemy critical damage.
  • Elemental Pop: Every bullet you fire has a small chance to apply a random Ammo Mod effect.
  • Melee Macchiato: Replace weapon gun butt with a deadly punch that sends enemies flying.

In the game “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” Zombies, using certain perks unlocks special enhancements known as Augments, divided into Minor and Major categories. For instance, one perk called Melee Macchiato offers a Minor Augment that provides Hidden Impact, which allows melee kills to automatically reload a portion of your ammo. A Major Augment for the same perk is Vampirism, where melee attacks restore the player’s health. Activision demonstrated how Augments work by using Melee Macchiato as an example in “Black Ops 6” Zombies.

Activision highlighted that on the ‘Terminus Island’ map in ‘Black Ops 6’, certain benefits (perks) are available, implying that other ‘Zombies’ maps might offer different perks. At the game’s launch, there will be two ‘Zombies’ maps: Terminus Island and Liberty Falls, with details on Liberty Falls being kept under wraps for now. It’s uncertain whether Liberty Falls will share the same perks as Terminus Island or if it has some unique features, so fans of Zombies will need to be patient and find out later.
