Battlefield’s REDSEC Battle Royale is now live, offering a lot to explore. Successfully finishing missions is key to getting powerful gear and winning the game.
When Battlefield’s Season 1 launched, REDSEC introduced several game modes, notably Gauntlet with its specific missions. However, those same missions can also be played within the regular Battle Royale experience.
Need help understanding the missions in Battlefield’s REDSEC Battle Royale? We’ve created a complete guide to walk you through everything.
All REDSEC Battle Royale Missions

Missions are optional challenges you can take on during a REDSEC match. Completing them gives you extra experience points and helpful rewards to use in the battle.
Only one mission can be active for the whole squad at any given time. Once a player starts a mission, no one else on the team can pick up another one until later in the game.
You’ll earn rewards for finishing each mission, including rare weapons, helpful items, and even the ability to instantly unlock custom weapon drops. Completing missions also gets you a Vehicle Key Card, which is needed to unlock and use a Tank. Missions will involve both player-versus-environment challenges and player-versus-player combat, with the Battle Royale always featuring competition against other players.
Sometimes you’ll encounter ‘Counter Missions,’ meaning another team is already working on a task nearby and you’re asked to stop them. These usually lead to direct fights with other players, so make sure you’re ready for a battle before taking one on.
As a huge fan of REDSEC Battle Royale, I’ve put together a quick guide to all the different missions you might come across. Below, you’ll find a breakdown of each mission type and exactly what you need to do to complete them. It should help you rack up those rewards!
