Players can earn a Lucky Trinket as a reward with the November 2025 Pokémon GO Pass Deluxe. Reaching rank 100 on the November Pass track will also allow Trainers to battle and potentially catch the Legendary Pokémon Virizion, as part of the Tales of Transformation event.
Virizion, often called the Grassland Pokemon, was introduced in the Pokemon Black and White games as one of the Swords of Justice in the Unova region. It’s a Grass and Fighting-type Pokemon, easily recognized by its streamlined, green appearance and strong special defense. In December 2019, Virizion became available as a challenging Raid boss in Pokemon GO, and players could find its rare, shiny version starting in May of the following year. In battle, Virizion can use quick attacks like Double Kick, and powerful charged attacks such as Leaf Blade, Stone Edge, and its unique move, Sacred Sword. However, its Grass and Fighting typing makes it weak against Flying, Fire, and Psychic-type Pokemon.
The Lucky Trinket Is Coming Back to Pokemon GO
From November 4th to December 2nd (starting and ending at 10:00 AM local time), the November 2025 Pokémon GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe will be available. Before these passes launch, the current Halloween event will end on November 2nd. Trainers who reach Rank 100 on the November GO Pass will be able to encounter the Pokémon Virizion with a special background related to the Tales of Transformation event. The GO Pass Deluxe, starting at $7.99, helps players progress more quickly and earn better rewards. Players earn GO Pass ranks by completing daily and weekly tasks like catching Pokémon, hatching Eggs, and battling.
Trainers who reach the highest level with the GO Pass Deluxe can get a Lucky Trinket. This allows friends at a Great Friend level or higher to become Lucky Friends. When you trade Pokémon with a Lucky Friend, both Pokémon become Lucky, meaning it costs half the Stardust to power them up and they’re guaranteed to have good stats (IVs of 12 or higher).
The November 2025 GO Pass will coincide with a new Pokémon GO event tied to the Pokémon Trading Card Game, available at stores like GameStop and Best Buy. Both the GO Pass and the Pokémon TCG event will run from November 7th to 30th, giving Pokémon GO players multiple opportunities to earn rewards during that time.
