Psyche was originally a special character available through a limited-time system in the early test version of Duet Night Abyss. However, when the game officially launched, this system was removed, making Psyche unavailable through banners. While you could previously use Phoxene Plumele to obtain her quickly, here’s how to get Psyche in the current version of the game, DNA.
How To Get Psyche In Duet Night Abyss
To unlock Psyche in Duet Night Abyss, players need to obtain the Secret Letter: Psyche first. Unlike most characters in DNA, you can’t get Psyche’s Secret Letter through normal means—it’s only available by completing the Immersive Theatre. See the next section for details.
Players can use real money to obtain Phoxene Plumule, which is then used to unlock Psyche. It takes 4500 Phoxene Plumule to fully upgrade Psyche (30 Thought: Psyche). The cost of Phoxene Plumule will be lower if you’ve already made some progress upgrading Psyche.
After receiving Secret Letter: Psyche, head to Covert Commissions.
Choose Character.
Press Select a Secret Letter.
Make sure to choose Secret: Letter Psyche, then press Confirm.
Finish the Commission, and with a bit of luck, you’ll receive the Thought known as Psyche. It might take multiple attempts to collect enough Thoughts to unlock Psyche within DNA.
How To Get Secret Letter Psyche In Duet Night Abyss
To unlock Secret Letter: Psyche in DNA, players must first earn stars on the Featured Repertoire stage within Immersive Theatre.
Okay, so I finally figured out how to unlock the Featured Repertoire! You gotta grind through all seven Acts of the Classic Repertoire first – which means a ton of building and battling. Only then will I be able to get the Psyche Secret Letter in Duet Night Abyss. It’s a bit of a journey, but I’m ready!
You can earn a total of 20 Secret Letter Psyche by collecting stars – 10 for the first 20 stars you earn, and another 10 for the final 10. The Featured Repertoire provides 20 of the 65 Secret Letter: Psyche found in DNA within the Immersive Theatre.
How To Unlock Immersive Theatre In Duet Night Abyss
There are two prerequisites to unlocking the Immersive Theatre in Duet Night Abyss:
- Complete Chapter Twilight: The Judgment Day quest (main quest)
- Complete Chapter Noctoyager: A New Theatrical Experience (side quest)
Once players finish the main story, they’ll unlock a side quest that lets them experience the Immersive Theatre feature.
Immersive Theatre Challenge In DNA
The Immersive Theatre challenge in Duet Night Abyss is like challenges found in games such as Genshin Impact‘s Spiral Abyss or Honkai: Star Rail‘s Memory of Chaos. It requires players to have two well-developed teams, so building at least two strong damage dealers (DPS) is essential.
Redeem some DNA codes to get extra resources for your character building.
The challenge consists of four regular waves followed by a boss fight. You’ll earn one star for completing each round, including the boss. This means teams can achieve a maximum of five stars per Act.
