How to Farm Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss

As a big fan of Duet Night Abyss, I’ve learned that Demon Wedges are key to getting stronger. They’re basically add-ons that boost your characters and gear with extra stats and effects, and you really need them if you want to be powerful in the late game. Honestly, you don’t need to worry about them too much at the beginning, but as you start to feel like your damage is dropping off, you definitely want to start collecting and upgrading those wedges as quickly as possible!

Where to Get Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss

You can obtain Demon Wedges in a few different ways, but the easiest is by checking the Noctoyager Manual in the Combat menu. This section offers commissions that give you Demon Wedges as a reward when you finish them.

Demon Wedges come in different levels of rarity, and completing harder commissions gives you better ones. Some of the higher-level wedges have special abilities that the weaker ones don’t. We suggest you start collecting Demon Wedges after you’ve made good progress in Duet Night Abyss – level 40 commissions are a good starting point.

Demon Wedges can also be obtained through quests, boss fights, and events.

Gold Demon Wedges

Okay, so gold Demon Wedges are the best you can get, and here’s the thing – you can’t just find them. You actually have to craft these bad boys! Luckily, there are a bunch of ways to snag the blueprints you need to do it.

  • Purchase and use Secret Letters from the shop
  • Complete Chase bounties in the Combat⇾Bounty Commissions menu
  • Complete level 70-80 Noctoyager commissions

If you’re trying to unlock characters using Secret Letters, it’s similar to how it worked in Duet Night Abyss. You’ll need to obtain Secret Letters – either by buying them or earning them through gameplay – and then complete Demon Wedge Covert Commissions, hoping to receive the item you’re looking for.

After you’ve obtained the Gold Demon Wedge blueprint, head to Lunosmith in Sanctuary and gather the necessary materials to craft it.

Upgrading Demon Wedges in Duet Night Abyss

To improve your Demon Wedge, choose it from the Armoury and click ‘Upgrade’. You’ll need both Coins and Carmine Globules to level it up. Keep in mind that each level will increase the Wedge’s Tolerance cost.

Coins and Carmine Globules can be obtained through commissions found in the Combat menu.

How Does Tolerance Work in DNA?

Tolerance determines how many Demon Wedges you can equip. Each character and weapon has a Tolerance limit, restricting the power of the Wedges you can use. You can’t simply equip the strongest Wedges available, but there are ways to overcome this limitation.

There are items called Track-Shift Modules that allow you to change the Track assigned to one of your Demon Wedge slots. Some wedges have symbols on them, and if you place a wedge in a slot with a matching Track symbol, its cost is reduced by half.

You can obtain Track-Shift Modules in a few ways: buying them in the shop, crafting them with a Lunosmith if you have the blueprint, or by leveling up your characters and weapons. Just remember that characters and weapons use different types of modules.
