Since then, everyone has been hoping for some sign of Gojo’s return, but the author, Gege Akutami, has confirmed that he remains dead.

Even though Gojo Satoru is gone, the author, Gege Akutami, understands fans loved his personality. That’s why they’ve introduced Maru in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo as a character with a similar feel. As the story progresses, it’s becoming increasingly clear that Gege has given Maru traits reminiscent of Gojo, making him a popular and enjoyable character.

He also has a simple but powerful desire to make the world a better place – he wants humans and curses to coexist peacefully and avoid unnecessary conflict. His Demeanor Is Similar to Gojo

It’s still hard to believe Gojo Satoru is gone, but seeing Maru still around isn’t a shock – a lot of Gojo’s fans immediately connected with him, given their similarities. While Maru will never be Gojo, he doesn’t need to be. He takes some of Gojo’s qualities and, thanks to the author, Gege, is developing into a really unique character as the story goes on. Honestly, I think Maru and Cross are two of Gege’s strongest creations in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, and I’m definitely eager to see where Gege takes their storylines.
