As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4’s trailer has sent shivers of excitement down my spine! Growing up with Marvel comics and games, this collaboration between Fortnite and Marvel is nothing short of a dream come true.
As a longtime gamer with a deep love for both Fortnite and Marvel comics, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Absolute Doom season of Fortnite Chapter 5! Having grown up reading the adventures of these iconic characters, it’s truly amazing to see them return to the island in this innovative and immersive way. The trailer alone has me on the edge of my seat, eagerly awaiting August 16th when the new season starts. This is definitely a must-play for any fan of either franchise!
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4’s Narrative
In the latest Fortnite video release, the main attraction is Doctor Doom, appearing to cause trouble. In one scene, Jonesy can be spotted donning Captain America’s uniform and using a shield for combat against adversaries.
The preview reveals the main storyline for the next season, featuring Dr. Doom apparently freeing Mysterio from a high-security prison. Moreover, an entire castle built by the ruthless doctor has been constructed on an island, likely serving as a significant landmark in the upcoming season.
In order to defeat Dr. Doom’s wicked army, Jonesy and other Fortnite characters ally with the X-Men. Characters like Cyclops, Colossus, Jubilee, and more get involved in the battle. Players also witness Peely transforming into Wolverine, recreating Logan’s famous escape from the Weapon X facility.

New Gameplay Features
Midway through the preview, there was a gameplay demonstration offering a glimpse of the fresh items that Fortnite players can interact with during the upcoming season. Firstly, they displayed Captain America’s Shield, a versatile tool allowing players to knock out several opponents simultaneously or collide with other players and their constructions. Following this, we were treated to a sneak peek at Black Panther’s Claws, which seem to function as a new melee weapon, particularly effective for close-quarters fighting.
Later on, Gwenpool makes an entrance, donning pieces of Tony Stark’s Iron Man Suit that enabled her to dash across the map and discharge powerful Unibeam attacks. Additionally, War Machine was spotted in action, his armor appearing indestructible. Lastly, Dr. Doom appeared, launching a destructive energy blast towards other Marvel characters.
Battle Pass Details
In the trailer details, Fortnite has announced that players can expect fresh additions like Dual Micro SMGs, Captain America’s Shield, or War Machine’s Arsenal during the upcoming Absolute Doom Season. Additionally, the next season’s Battle Pass will be priced at 950 V-Bucks and will offer rewards including Gwenpool, War MachinePeelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jonesy, Mysterio, and Shuri. Furthermore, players will have a chance to unlock Dr Doom’s skin through Battle Pass missions starting in September.
