In Arc Raiders, the main goal is to collect as much loot as possible during each run before you need to escape. You can find useful items scattered everywhere – in vehicles, damaged machines, from defeated Arc robots, and even in everyday objects like shelves and desks. Keep an eye out for Security Lockers, too – they often hold valuable rewards.

In Arc Raiders, when you find a Security Locker with loot, you might get a red message saying “0/1 Security Breach.” Here’s what that means, explained in this guide.

How to Open Security Lockers in Arc Raiders (Security Breach, Explained)

Okay, so I’ve been trying to open those Security Lockers in Arc Raiders, and it’s a bit of a grind! You actually need to unlock the Security Breach skill, and it’s way down the Survival skill tree. Seriously, you have to put 36 skill points into Survival before you can even get to it, which takes a while. It’s a bit annoying, but hopefully the loot inside is worth it!

As you play Arc Raiders and gain levels, you’ll automatically earn Skill Points. Getting loot, scavenging resources, and destroying objects will also give your Raider more experience points.

Some players may not like having to go into a skill tree that doesn’t match how they prefer to play Arc Raiders just to open loot stashes, but those stashes occasionally contain useful rewards like new recipes and rare items.

Not sure how to unlock new skills? From the main game screen, use the RB or R1 button to go to the Raider section. Then, on that screen, look for the leftmost icon under your character and click it to open the Skill Tree. You’ll find three skill categories – Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival – with around 50 different skills to choose from.
