Netflix Looking At Buying Warner Bros. Discovery

Netflix is considering a purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery. If the deal goes through, Netflix could gain ownership of all of Warner Bros. Games and its related franchises and content.

This announcement follows Warner Bros. Discovery’s recent statement that they were considering offers from several interested buyers for the entire company.

Okay, so I just read on Deadline that Netflix is seriously considering buying another company! Apparently, they’ve brought in Moelis & Co. – the same investment bank that recently helped Skydance and Paramount merge – to figure out how to make a bid. It sounds like things are getting real!

What Could Happen To Warner Bros. Games Under Netflix?

It’s uncertain whether Netflix would acquire all of Warner Bros. Games if they were to buy the company. Warner Bros. Games currently owns popular franchises like Mortal Kombat, Harry Potter, DC Comics, and Game of Thrones.

Warner Bros. Games has several studio teams, such as Avalanche Software, NetherRealm Studios, Rocksteady Studios, and TT Games. They also have internal studios located in cities like Montreal, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. All of these studios would probably be part of any potential sale of the company.

Netflix has tried to become a player in the video game world, but hasn’t yet achieved significant success. However, they are still actively investing in expanding their gaming offerings.
