EA Sports FC 25 announces 13 new Heroes coming to the beautiful game

As a seasoned gamer with decades of virtual football under my belt, I must confess that the announcement of these new Heroes in EA Sports FC 25 has me positively buzzing! Growing up, I’ve always dreamt of witnessing the rise of legends on the pitch, and now, with this game, I get a front-row seat to their journey.

EA Sports has unveiled 13 brand new characters set to join both EA Sports FC 25 and EA Sports FC 25 Mobile. These characters will have the ability to develop alongside your Ultimate Team, mirroring their real-life football career progression. For those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition, you’ll get an ‘Origin Hero’ item on release day, which can be accessed early and will upgrade to a ‘Prime Hero’ item by November 28th.

In commemation of the big news, an exciting new trailer is unveiled featuring Eden Hazard, Tim Howard, Laura Georges, and Maicon as they transition from rookies to legends, demonstrating their unique skills individually.

“In the beloved sport that unites people worldwide, there are countless heroes. Being named among the FC Heroes of this year holds a unique significance for me,” said Tim Howard. “I’m thrilled to be between the goalposts for FC 25.”

The complete roster of new heroes coming to EA Sports FC 25 are as follows:

  • Blaise Matuidi
  • Celia Šašić
  • Eden Hazard
  • Fara Williams
  • Guti
  • Jaap Stam
  • Jamie Carragher
  • Laura Georges
  • Maicon
  • Marek Hamšík
  • Mohammed Noor
  • Tim Howard
  • Zé Roberto

Charlie Villiers, Sr. Director of Franchise Marketing at EA SPORTS FC, said, “Be it a crucial match-winning moment, an exhilarating sprint, or anything in between, earning respect from fans is a source of pride for any footballer.” This year, we’re launching an exceptional group of heroes in Ultimate Team starting this September, and we wanted to commemorate the instances that demonstrated their dedication to the team and honor these players’ paths towards becoming heroes.

In a recent playthrough, I found myself expressing my enthusiasm for EA Sports FC 25. The game seems to offer a fresh and improved experience compared to the previous version. There were aspects that weren’t evident in the initial preview, but the fact that I noticed differences in the feel of the games is a testament to EA’s hard work. The passing feels more realistic, the player AI has been enhanced to make tactics matter, and goalkeepers are now more competent, making goals less predictable. Lastly, the inclusion of Rush mode promises to make all major game modes more enjoyable and engaging. It doesn’t feel like a forced addition, but rather a thrilling enhancement for EA Sports FC 25’s sequel.
