Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone Revealed by Farm 51, Coming 2025

As a seasoned gamer who’s weathered countless apocalypses and post-apocalyptic landscapes, I can confidently say that Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone has me absolutely thrilled! The original game was a visual feast with its haunting depiction of Chornobyl and Pripyat, and the thought of exploring an even larger open-world in the sequel is nothing short of exhilarating.

In 2021, The Farm 51 introduced Chernobylite – an intriguing blend of post-apocalyptic survival games, beautifully yet hauntingly portraying the real-life Chornobyl and Pripyat region. This game offered a mind-bending experience as players navigated through a decaying world, encountering terrifying creatures, hostile humans, and delving deep into their own psychological challenges.

Currently, The Farm 51 team has unveiled the sequel – Chernobylite 2: The Expanded Exclusion Zone. This anticipated title is scheduled to launch on both PC and consoles in 2025, and I, for one, am absolutely thrilled about it.

The Apocalypse Never Looked So Good

2021’s Chernobylite stands out as an exceptional game, boasting lush graphics, ample freedom, base construction, and resource allocation. Scattered throughout are numerous unexpected jolts, while its narrative unfurls in an intricate, unforeseen manner. In my view, it ranks among the underappreciated survival games that have surfaced lately, and I’m thrilled to learn that The Farm 51 is growing this universe with a complete sequel.

In the sequel titled “Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone,” players embark on an adventure through a sprawling open-world setting. Their journey is shaped by an engaging narrative that offers flexibility, enabling them to progress at their convenience. As they delve deeper into this post-apocalyptic world, they’ll assume the role of a ‘Planewalker’, a unique individual capable of moving between realities and slipping into alternate dimensions – a concept further developed from its introduction in the original game.

As an ardent admirer of the chilling world of Chernobylite, I’m thrilled to bits to share that the upcoming sequel, Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, is set to include online cooperative modes for its campaign! This means I can delve into the eerie depths of this massive game hand-in-hand with a fellow enthusiast. What a fantastic development for those of us yearning to experience the haunting beauty of Chernobyl together!

It appears that, based on the information given about the story, the initial attempt to halt the catastrophic expansion of a material named Chernobylite proved unsuccessful. As a result, the player is tasked with locating survivors within the Exclusion Zone and battling to establish a foothold in a distorted reality that spans multiple dimensions.

It appears that Chernobylite: Exclusion Zone might switch things up by incorporating both first-person and third-person perspectives, departing from the single-player first-person approach of the initial game, which could lead to differing opinions among players.

Currently, the game is planned for release in 2025 – I’ll make sure to mark that date on my calendar.
