I’m only going to talk about what makes these games fun to play again and again. If you’d like more detailed information about any specific game, I’ve included links to my other articles where you can learn more at your own speed. These 12 games are just a small taste of the many great strategy games available. To be honest, I was expecting to like Marathon more than I actually do. I really appreciate how the game looks, and I think the shooting feels better than in Destiny 2. The loot is good, the enemies are tough, and the maps are enjoyable. However, I don’t particularly love the extraction shooter genre – I don’t like the forced player-versus-player combat or the risk of losing progress, and that’s perfectly fine. This game just isn’t a perfect fit for me, but I can still recognize and enjoy its strengths. What frustrates me is seeing the extreme reactions from some players – either demanding Destiny 3 or hoping Marathon fails because they’re upset about Destiny 2. I wish people could just appreciate each game for what it is.

With his ability to harness God Ki and now fully master Ultra Instinct, Goku’s attacks have become incredibly powerful. He can use techniques created for angels, even the signature attack of the Gods of Destruction, plus a wide range of unique moves he’s picked up from his teachers and battles against the strongest opponents in the universe. In late May 2026, a known leaker named Lolilolailo posted six images on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu (also called RedNote). These images reportedly came from a studio helping to develop Persona 6. Four of the images depict a blonde male character who is believed to be the main character of the upcoming RPG. Two of the images also show a dark-haired female character – one is a sketch sheet labeled with what a translation suggests is “facial expressions” and the name “Kugabe Neiko / Yasuko.” This label might be the character’s name, and the images generally seem to confirm recent speculation that Persona 6 could have two main characters.

We’ve adjusted game prices for players in South Africa to better reflect local costs and align with prices in other regions. This should make new game releases more fairly priced.

During the “The Past Never Dies” chapter of 007 First Light, you’ll find a frustrated DJ trying to get his sound system working. As you go up the ramp towards the auction, you’ll see a dance floor with people waiting for the music. Go talk to the DJ and see if you can help him with his equipment.

Over half of the games added to Microsoft’s subscription service in May 2026 were available to play on the day they were added. Before this month, the most recent game to arrive on the service was the strategy RPG Echo Generation 2 on May 27th. Other day-one releases this month included Luna Abyss, Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, Black Jacket, Mixtape, Outbound, Motorslice, and the Xbox Series X/S version of Escape Simulator.
