As a die-hard fan of both Halloween and Ash vs Evil Dead, I can barely contain my excitement! RetroRealms: Halloween and Ash vs Evil Dead, two iconic properties turned into 16-bit platformers? Sign me up! And the best part? Crossing over between these worlds? That’s just too good to be true!

Today, Boss Team Games unveiled their upcoming project – RetroRealms: Halloween, along with Ash vs Evil Dead, both slated to launch on October 18, 2024, as per the latest trailer they’ve shared.

As a gamer, I’m totally psyched about RetroRealms! It takes my favorite classic franchises and transforms them into classic 16-bit platformers. While each game needs to be bought individually, grabbing both gives me the awesome opportunity to traverse between these worlds!

Today’s teaser unveils the additional content you’ll get by pre-ordering, which is now open! Pre-order and you’ll secure access to extra DLC characters. Among them are Laurie Strode from Halloween and Kelly Maxwell from Ash vs Evil Dead.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that today’s exciting news is a direct follow-up to yesterday’s bombshell dropped by Boss Team Games. Yesterday, they hinted at their secret projects, and today, they’ve confirmed it! They are indeed developing two games inspired by the spooky spirit of Halloween. The mystery game teased earlier this week, RetroRealms, was the one we’ve all been guessing about! This is just too good to be true!

As a fervent admirer of Boss Team Games, I’m thrilled to share that while they’ve already unveiled a trailer for RetroRealms, their other Halloween-themed game is under construction using the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5. This project is currently in its early stages of development.

The upcoming sequel to the original Halloween movie is planned to “recreate scenes from the film.” Additionally, it’s expected that John Carpenter, Compass International Pictures, and Further Front will be involved in its creation.

Previously, Boss Team Games released “Evil Dead: The Game,” a multiplayer game set in the popular IP, which debuted in 2022. Recently, “Evil Dead: The Game” concluded its development phase towards the end of the previous year.
