New Trademark Filed For Dying Light

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, the news of Techland filing a trademark for Dying Light: The Beast has sent ripples of excitement down my spine. I still remember the thrill of surviving the zombie apocalypse in the original Dying Light, and the sequel was equally captivating. With Dying Light 2 launching just two years ago, it’s a bit early for another installment, but then again, who am I to question the creative minds at Techland?

On August 12, 2024, it was announced that Techland submitted a new trademark for the Dying Light series, titled “Dying Light: The Beast” (courtesy of Kurakasis).

It’s clear that since it’s only a trademark filing, we don’t yet have concrete information about what Dying Light: The Beast entails. Dying Light 2 was released by Techland in the year 2022, marking their last game to date. There is another game in development at Techland, but specifics about this upcoming project are currently scarce.

At this moment, the trademark is yet to be officially approved because it was only recently submitted on the 12th. However, given the circumstances, it appears highly likely that it will soon receive approval in the coming days.

In simpler terms, we’ve contacted Techland about the trademark application. If they respond, we’ll make any necessary changes to this article.
