In ARC Raiders, you’ll need blueprints to create better equipment like weapons, tools, and gear, which will help you survive the dangerous world above.
If you’re looking to collect the materials needed to craft top-tier gear – like powerful Rare and Legendary weapons – this guide will show you the best places to find all the blueprints early in the game.
How To Farm Blueprints in ARC Raiders
Blueprints are rare items you can find as loot throughout the game. They’re considered valuable resources, and you’ll generally have the best luck finding them in areas marked with Medium or Heavy loot. Keep in mind these areas are usually more dangerous, with both enemy players and AI opponents posing a threat.
Players can find several safe and easy-to-reach farming locations early in the game, and because these spots are near extraction points, the chance of encountering and being killed by hostile Raiders is much lower.
I found this cool little spot on the Dam Battlegrounds map called Formicai Outpost, way up in the northeast. It’s basically a lone tower, and honestly, it’s kinda hidden – I almost ran right past it! But that’s actually a good thing, because with only one way in, it’s super easy to hold down while my teammates are busy collecting resources elsewhere. It’s a great defensive position.
This farming location is great because it’s usually empty, but reliably contains two crates. One of these is often a Weapon Crate, along with a few smaller containers.
This farming location is simple: when you enter, you’ll find loot immediately to your right and left – in bags, containers, and caches. The best part is that blueprints almost always drop inside the main area.
Another key feature of this area is its isolation. Players can get there by going around the edge of the map, letting them avoid both ARC enemies and other players. This is especially helpful during Night Raids, when loot is boosted by almost 150% and the number of ARC enemies on the map triples.
It’s best if players start near this location, but if they spawn far away, they can find a similar area to search for blueprints at The Raider Outpost East. This is another common spawn point, so players nearby should check the crates for crafting recipes, although they’re a little harder to find here.
The location of Blueprints is random each time you play, meaning you can always find new ones, though you might occasionally get duplicates. They always sell for 5000 Coins, making them a good item to trade if you already have the recipe.
Blueprint Farming Spots For Mid-Late Game
Here’s a breakdown of where you can find Blueprints on maps other than the main one, including locations in Buried City, Spaceport, and The Blue Gate.
- New District (Buried City): Three cachés among the fallen pipes have a chance to drop blueprints.
- Shipping Warehouse (Spaceport): Among the containers in this zone, there’s a slight chance of getting blueprints.
- Control Tower (A6): Most of the containers on the first floor have a chance to drop blueprints; however, this is a highly contested zone, so tread carefully.
- Village (Blue Gate): A contested zone, with tons of places where players can ambush rival Raiders. It has a high chance of dropping blueprints in most containers.
- Adorned Wreckage (Blue Gate): Near the place where players can complete the With a Trace Quest, there’s a high chance to spot a Raider’s Cache (follow the beeping sound), which often contains a blueprint.
- Pilgrim’s Peak (Blue Gate): Has the highest drops in the Blue Gate map, but the threat of ARC enemies and hostile Raiders is significantly increased.
