I’ve been following the development of the next Assassin’s Creed game – currently known as Hexe – for a while now! It was first hinted at way back in September 2022 during the same Ubisoft presentation where we got our first look at Assassin’s Creed Shadows (then called Red) and Mirage. They even showed off Jade, the mobile game that’s still in the works. Honestly, Ubisoft has kept pretty quiet about Hexe since that initial tease. But there have been rumors floating around that this one might be a bit different and more experimental than previous Assassin’s Creed titles, which is exciting!

Fans were hoping for improvements after a disappointing update in January that introduced a divisive 1v3 matchmaking and a weak Map Condition for Buried City. The latest ARC Raiders patch, called Shrouded Sky, delivers a lot of new content. The biggest addition is the Hurricane Map Condition, which throws dangerous weather into the mix.
