As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming addition of “The Plucky Squire” to the PlayStation Plus Extra lineup is nothing short of exhilarating! The opportunity to explore its storybook world and the “real world” without breaking the bank is a dream come true.
In September 2024, it’s officially announced that the popular indie game “The Plucky Squire” will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers on the first day of release. Typically, Sony unveils the free games for PlayStation Plus towards the end of the previous month, and the upcoming games for PS Plus Extra and Premium around mid-month. Occasionally, however, games are announced ahead of schedule, like in this case.
For September 2024, the list of free PlayStation Plus games won’t be revealed until August 28th. However, one of the free games for PS Plus subscribers has already been disclosed. Starting from September 3rd, all tiers of PlayStation Plus members can download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions at no cost. This upcoming fantasy sports game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, and it seems quite intriguing. With the ability to play it for free through PS Plus, it’s expected to garner a substantial player base from the outset.
The Quidditch Champion title from Harry Potter will be accessible for free to all PlayStation Plus subscribers, regardless if they are on the Essential, Extra, or Premium tiers. Additionally, The Plucky Squire is set to join the PS Plus Extra collection on September 17.
