These demons possess exceptional magical and physical capabilities, opting for Curses instead of conventional magic.

10 Keyes

Keyes, hailing from Etherion, was a part of Tartaros’ Nine Demon Gates, a formidable team of demons crafted by Zeref. His unique ability, dubbed Necromancer, allowed him to resurrect deceased beings for combat purposes. A striking display of his prowess is seen in Silver Fullbuster, another member of the Nine Demon Gates.

Although his necromancy was impressively potent, what truly set him apart was his uncanny ability to endure. Keyes’ unique composition was formed from Magic Barrier Particles, which could taint the surrounding magic and cause harm to mages. This extraordinary resilience allowed his body to mimic mist, making it immune to both physical and magical assaults.

9 Torafuzar

The Dark

Amongst the nine demonic realms, Torafuzar stood out as a particularly formidable entity, boasting characteristics reminiscent of a shark and an imposing physique. His malevolent power was known as Tenchi Kaimei, granting him the ability to alter his surroundings, flooding them with toxic water. He was exceptionally skilled in underwater battles, making him all the more dangerous.

The water became lethal due to its excessive carbon content, causing anyone who drank it to perish within just five minutes. Meanwhile, Torafuzar’s impressive swimming skills enabled him to capture enemies swiftly and finish them off promptly with his arm-mounted blades.

8 Jackal

As a gamer, let me tell you about Jackal, the most aggressive and devastating of Tartaros’s Nine Demonic Gates I encountered. He made his grand entrance by annihilating the entire Magic Council of Ishgar single-handedly. His curse gave him the ability to plant magical bombs all over the place, and each one had enough power to instantly kill a person. Talk about a challenge!

Jackal, being inherently aggressive and possessing a malevolent disposition, was extraordinarily perilous. His enjoyment stemmed from wanton destruction and killing, often trapping people in insurmountable predicaments for his own entertainment. It’s plausible that he holds one of the highest death tolls among Tartaros members.

7 Tempester

The Immortal

As a gamer, I go by the moniker Tempester – a name that echoes chaos itself. My unique ability, The Curse, unleashes Mother Nature’s fury, summoning tempests, deluges, and infernos that leave a trail of devastation in my wake. I’m no ordinary player; I’ve got the durability to withstand anything thrown at me and regenerative powers that make me virtually indestructible.

His primary skill lay in scattering Magical Barrier Particles across vast expanses. By forfeiting his own life, he managed to envelop an entire town in a thick, highly poisonous mist of fog that claimed over a hundred lives within a day and even incapacitated Laxus, one of Fairy Tail’s most powerful members.

6 Seilah

Goddess Of The Chill Moon

Seilah was a cunning demon belonging to the Nine Demon Gates of Tartaros. Her Curse, Macro, granted her the power to dominate individuals and command them unquestioningly. With this power, she seized hostages and orchestrated her opponents’ actions, even going so far as to destroy Fairy Tail guild by indirectly manipulating Elfman.

Additionally, Seilah tapped into tremendous dark energy and, by discarding her constraints, she managed to instantly defeat Mirajane in her Sitri form. However, it was only when Mirajane unexpectedly unleashed a swift assault aided by Elfman using Macro that Seilah ultimately succumbed.

5 Kyôka

Goddess Of The Slave Planet

As head of the Nine Demon Gates, Kyôka was Tartaros’ most formidable routine member due to her extraordinary powers. Her curse granting abilities enabled her to augment not only herself but also her adversaries. This could involve a progressive escalation in her power or an intensification of her enemy’s pain perception. At one stage, she even succeeded in stripping Erza of all five senses.

Regarding brute force, Kyoka managed to shatter Erza’s most powerful armor and inflict multiple wounds during their battle. If pitted against an ordinary adversary, her triumph would have been inevitable. Nevertheless, their contest ended in a stalemate, with Kyôka perishing only because Minerva intervened.

4 Mard Geer Tartaros

The Underworld King

As a stand-in guild leader for Tartaros, Mard Geer proactively assembled the Etherios to carry out their task of eliminating Zeref. He possessed numerous curses, though the one he frequently employed was one that controlled prickly vines. His power surpassed even the strength of the Nine Demon Gates, as evidenced when he disciplined Kyoka for her mistakes.

The core strength of Mard Geer lay in his greatest Cursed ability: Memento Mori. This curse was specifically crafted to vanquish Zeref, as it obscured the boundary between life and death, effectively obliterating the target from reality, and possessing the potential to slay an eternally living entity.

3 Bloodman

The Grim Reaper

Among the twelve Spriggan guards, Bloodman served as a protective figure for Zeref, also being an Etherious conjured via dark sorcery. Notably powerful among Zeref’s fabrications, his strength was evident as numerous mages met their demise merely by being in proximity to him, owing to his form crafted from Magical Barrier Particles.

His demonic prowess is underscored by his capacity to employ the Curses of Tartaros’ members, such as Mard Geer, Torafuzar, and Jackal. He exhibited this ability by draining life energy from living beings and using it to open a gateway to the underworld with his own body.

2 Larcade Dragneel

Similar to other Etherious, Larcade originated from Zeref’s dark magic research. His creation, however, was an unsuccessful attempt at producing another E.N.D., which is why he bears the surname Dragneel. Among the Spriggan Twelve, his strength places him third, behind a 400-year-old dragon and Zeref’s biological son.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but marvel at the extraordinary abilities of Larcade. His magic was uniquely attuned to fundamental human drives – sleep, hunger, and pleasure – which he could manipulate to render his adversaries helpless. This remarkable skill allowed him to single-handedly outmaneuver no less than three guilds! Alas, his life was tragically cut short, not by fate or circumstance, but because Zeref sought his demise.

1 Etherious Natsu Dragneel

Throughout the tale, Natsu, our central figure, has consistently shown immense strength, relying on his Dragon Slayer magic to outmatch his adversaries. Yet, it wasn’t until the conflict with Alvarez that his true identity as E.N.D., Zeref’s most potent creation, was unveiled. This powerful entity came into existence during Zeref’s attempts to resurrect his younger brother, Natsu.

With his inherent Curse power, Natsu significantly amplifies his strength, outmatching even divine abilities. Etherious Natsu managed to traverse Dimaria’s manipulated time, a skill she acquired from the Time God. His flames possess such intensity that they can neutralize all forms of magic, even those protecting Zeref’s immortality.
