The recent Monster Update for REPO has dramatically altered how players experience the game, impacting exploration, survival, and interactions within its spooky environment. Though the new monsters and larger maps have generated excitement, the biggest additions are actually two new player upgrades available at the Service Station. Keep reading to discover what these upgrades can do!
All New Upgrades Added in REPO Monster Update
The Monster Update introduced three new upgrades: Tumble Grab, Tumble Climb, and Death Head Battery. You can buy these at the Service Station, and they significantly improve your movement and ability to support your teammates.
Tumble Grab
The Tumble Grab upgrade costs about 5,000 credits and improves the fun Tumble Launch movement ability. Without the upgrade, tumbling just sends you rolling and bouncing around randomly, often landing you in unexpected places.
Tumble Grab lets you pick up items or weapons while tumbling, making your movements more fluid and controlled. It’s a subtle improvement, but it really enhances gameplay. If you enjoy mastering movement techniques, this upgrade is a must-have.
Tumble Climb
The Tumble Climb upgrade in REPO is a really fun new feature. Once you get it, you can climb walls and other surfaces even while tumbling! This gives you greater control and maneuverability when you’re rolling around.
Tumble Climb lets you easily scale walls, stick to ceilings, and seamlessly transition between wall grips, giving you complete freedom of movement within a space.
How long you can climb depends a lot on your stamina. The more stamina you have, the longer you can hold on, move around, and reach for higher holds without dropping.
Death Head Battery
The recent Death Head Battery update in REPO drastically changes the death experience. Previously, when a player died, they became a floating ‘Death Head’ that could only watch the game. Now, things are different!
This upgrade changes everything when you die. The Death Head Battery actually recharges while you’re dead, building up power that lets you take control of your own head. When fully charged, you can briefly move and control your Death Head, allowing you to float around the map, interact with things, and even distract enemies – it’s a really useful ability!
The Death Head Possession lets you keep contributing to your team even when you’re eliminated. Just keep in mind that it has a limited duration, and you can extend it by purchasing battery upgrades.
