As a seasoned Elden Ring gamer with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that FromSoftware has once again outdone themselves in crafting a world that is vast, intricate, and filled with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. The latest find by a fellow player RewsterSause, uncovering a secret path to Deeproot Depths after 1,000 hours of gameplay, only goes to show how much there is still left to explore in this magnificent game.

A dedicated player of Elden Ring has uncovered a previously unknown route leading to the Deeproot Depths region following over 1,000 hours spent in the game. One of Elden Ring’s most impressive features is its immersive exploration aspect, made possible by an expansive world that can easily consume hundreds of hours of playtime.

Despite extensive exploration in the realm of Elden Ring, players frequently discover undiscovered dungeons, enigmatic characters, or potent foes they haven’t encountered before. Reminiscent of other FromSoftware games, the world of Elden Ring is brimming with concealed passages and optional realms that are effortlessly overlooked.

Reddit user RewsterSause shared an interesting find: despite having invested over 1000 hours in Elden Ring, they recently uncovered a previously unknown pathway leading to a well-known region. This concealed route guides players from the Frenzied Flame Proscription directly into the Deeproot Depths. Known as one of Elden Ring’s most popular optional destinations, the Deeproot Depths can be accessed once the Eternal City of Nokron has been unlocked. However, players have found a secret passageway that grants them access to this region without having to engage in the fight against the Gargoyle Twins.

Elden Ring: Hidden Path to Deeproot Depths Explained

The secret path is located in the Frenzied Flame Proscription, an area found beneath Elden Ring‘s Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, under the Cathedral of the Forsaken Site of Grace. Players first need to reach the bottom level of this area, which is accessible by the coffins sticking out of the wall. Rolling into the southeastern wall will reveal an illusory wall. Inside these walls is a small area with a treasure chest. Rolling into the wall behind the chest will unveil another illusory wall, which opens the path to a Site of Grace called Root-Facing Cliffs.

In Elden Ring’s epic journey, I found myself venturing deep into a pivotal region that shaped Fia’s questline. This place is renowned for its unique charm, and it’s home to one of the most talked-about boss fights – the Deeproot Depths’ infamous Five Fingers Irina duel. In this thrilling encounter, I was thrown into a grueling battle against no less than five bosses, spread across three intense phases.
