During the live broadcast of the Pokemon GO 2024 World Championships on August 16, Niantic unveiled a fresh promotional code, A6NEWU63K9AU8, which players can utilize to obtain an event-themed t-shirt. This code is usable directly within the game, or it can be redeemed via the Pokemon GO Online Store. By following this process, players will receive two versions of the t-shirt, one for male and female characters. Both designs feature the cute scuba diving Pikachu, serving as the mascot for this year’s Pokemon World Championships.
Pokemon GO 2024 World Championships Tee
Niantic introduced a unique blue version of the game’s tee, but it can’t be obtained using a promotional code. Instead, players must participate in the three-day event and successfully complete an exclusive Scavenger Hunt Timed Research mission to unlock it. This mission involves spinning various nearby PokeStops, engaging in four battles in the Great League, boosting Pokemon’s power 24 times, sending out four gifts with stickers, and catching 20 Fairy-type Pokemon, along with several other tasks. In addition to the blue t-shirt, completing the Scavenger Hunt Timed Research rewards a special Pikachu with an exclusive background.
For those players not in Honolulu at the moment, they have an opportunity to acquire a special 2024 World Championships Pikachu from Pokemon GO, modeled after the event’s mascot. This unique Pokemon can be earned by finishing one of several Field Research tasks during the event, or it can also be found in limited-time 1-star raids. Additionally, this scuba diving Pikachu has a shiny version as well, but the odds of encountering its rarer, shinier form seem to be relatively low.
