How To Complete Doctor’s Orders in ARC Raiders
In ARC Raiders, one of your first tasks is the “Doctor’s Orders” quest, given by the medical trader Lance. He wants to test your ability to gather materials before offering further assistance, so he asks you to collect resources he needs to make medical supplies.
To complete Doctor’s Orders, you will need to collect the following items:
- Two Antiseptic
- One Syringe
- One Durable Cloth
- One Great Mullein

Where to Find Antiseptic in ARC Raiders
Antiseptic is a hard-to-find item, but you’ll usually discover it in Medical buildings. Focus your search on locations tagged as such. Luckily, Medical buildings only appear on the Dam and Buried City maps, making your search easier. Since Antiseptic is rare, check areas with medium or high loot to increase your chances of finding it.
You can also make Antiseptic yourself at your home base. While it might be tricky for beginners, if you’ve upgraded your Refiner to level two, you can craft Antiseptic using 10 Chemicals and 2 Great Mullein.
Where to Find A Syringe in ARC Raiders
Syringes, like Antiseptic, are considered Medical supplies and can be hard to find. Your best bet is to search Medical buildings that have a good amount of loot. You can also get Syringes by finding and breaking down any Rusted Medical Kits you come across.
It’s fairly easy to find syringes in Speranza. The trader Celeste always has five available for 10 Assorted Seeds each. You can typically find Assorted Seeds by looting enemies or by breaking down fruits like apricots and lemons.
Where to Find Durable Cloth in ARC Raiders
Durable Cloth is marked as a medical supply and can be found in commercial buildings throughout the world of ARC Raiders. It’s considered an uncommon item – meaning it’s a bit more plentiful than Antiseptic and Syringes – so you should be able to find it in locations with moderate loot. Because it’s found in commercial areas, it appears on all four launch maps, though gathering a significant amount may take several runs.
You can get Durable Cloth either by finding it or by making it yourself at the Refiner Station. To craft it, you’ll need 14 Fabric, which is a common resource and easy to collect in large amounts.
Where to Find Great Mullein in ARC Raiders
Great Mullein is different from the other items you need for this quest – it doesn’t fall under the Medical category. That’s because it’s a plant, and therefore categorized as Nature, similar to plants like Prickly Pear. You can find it in several places, and surprisingly, there’s a lot of it in the Galleria in Buried City, growing in the planter boxes.
Having trouble finding Great Mullein? You can buy it from Celeste, who always has 10 available. She’ll trade you one for just five Assorted Seeds.
Best Location to Complete Doctor’s Orders Quest
If you’re doing the Doctor’s Orders quest, you can find the necessary items in a few different locations, but The Buried City is the fastest place to complete it. Start by heading to the Galleria to get Great Mullein, then go to the Hospital.
The Hospital is your best bet for finding the remaining items, as it’s the most valuable medical location. You might even get lucky and find everything in one visit! If not, it’s worth returning a couple of times to collect everything you need. Don’t forget to use your Safe Pocket for rare items, just in case you can’t complete a successful extraction and need to bring them back with you.
