Now, I know what you might be thinking – “Is there such a thing as too much Weakspot DMG?” Well, in this world, more Weakspot DMG is never enough!

As a passionate admirer of the game world, I can’t help but sing praises about the less-frequently-used “Unstable Bomber” build within the captivating realm of Once Human. Despite its relatively low popularity, this build maintains a formidable presence due to its jaw-dropping explosive capabilities. It’s a force to be reckoned with, capable of causing significant damage in challenging boss encounters and intense PvP situations. While it may not offer the highest DPS, its raw burst damage more than makes up for that deficiency, making it an indispensable part of any content I endeavor to conquer.

In the setup I’m about to describe, it won’t cause as much instant damage as a Power Surge build in “Once Human,” but it will deplete substantial portions of an enemy’s health with each shot, unless the enemy is eliminated instantly. Here’s how you can set up this build:

Once Human Unstable Bomber Sniper Build

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that this build is tailored for maximizing damage output by focusing on Weakspot hits. The Gulped Lore weapon offers an enticing 80% chance to activate Unstable Bomber procs, inflicting critical damage on Weakspots. Given the fact that the explosion’s potency increases with Weakspot Damage, Critical Damage, and Elemental Damage, it’s essential for every component of the build to optimize these key stats. In my gaming journey, I’ve learned the importance of fine-tuning my gear to ensure optimal performance, making this build a must-try for any player aiming to deal maximum damage in their gaming adventures.

Gulped Lore Calibration

Due to the slow rate of fire on bolt-action sniper rifles in Gulped Lore, we recommend using the Rapid-Shot ability instead. You can acquire this skill by breaking down sniper rifles you find in chests, during dungeon runs, or after defeating the Monolith bosses from Once Human.

Rapid-Shot Style increases your bolt pulling speed and reload speed by 50% while reducing your damage by 10%. The penalty is mostly negligible as you’ll still be dealing extreme damage on Weakspot hits. As for weapon accessories, we recommend using the Amended SR Mag for faster reload speeds and Once Human’s Large Brake muzzle attachment to improve the Gulped Lore’s third-person aiming accuracy.

Secondary and Melee Weapons

In simple terms, the AWS.338 Bingo has a high probability of causing The Bull’s Eye effect on weakspot hits, amplifying the damage dealt to enemies and their weakspot damage. This effect can accumulate up to three times, making it an ideal match for the Gulped Lore. If you don’t have the Starchrom weapon, consider using the Recurve Crossbow as an alternative.

For melee weapons, we recommend using the Frozen Northern Pike for its ability to freeze enemies and spawn Frost Vortexes. The Long Axe used to be the best melee weapon for gun-based builds since it can manually deploy Fortress Warfare, but this ability has since been removed as of the 1.1 patch.

Armor

The heart of this Unstable Bomber construction’s armor arrangement revolves around the Explosive Top Front chest piece from the Wish Machine. This item postpones the detonation of your Unstable Bomber explosions, but in exchange, it amplifies the damage they inflict by an additional 30%.

However, gathering Starchrom in ‘Once Human’ can take time, so if you don’t have enough for the full Renegade set, consider using three pieces of the Falcon Set along with two pieces of the Agent set as an alternative. This combination offers additional Critical Hit and Weakspot Damage.

Unstable Bomber Build Mods

In contrast to a Burn build in Once Human, these mods distribute all damage from both your standard gunfire and Unstable Bomber explosions upfront. Critical Damage and Status Damage are also significant, but Weakspot Damage plays a crucial role in regular non-critical shots with Gulped Lore, making it the most important stat among the three for you to focus on.

Combat Deviant

For this Unstable Bomber build, we recommend Lonewolf’s Whisper for the extra Weapon DMG. The wolves will also keep enemies distracted, giving you time to line up your shots. This works especially well with the Deviant Master Cradle perk, which increases your damage against Deviants by 50% when your own Deviants are active.

As an alternative, consider using “Shattered Maiden” as your Deviant. This character will charge towards an adversary and yell at it, escalating the Explosion Damage they sustain by 40%. The damage amplification will take effect once Shattered Maiden strikes its target, and it will only affect that specific enemy.

Food Buffs and Seasonal Cradle

For food, the best option players have for boosting their damage is the Whimsical Drink. It increases your Elemental DMG by 25% for 30 minutes, and you can boost its effectiveness by deploying Once Human’s Chefosaurus Deviant in your base. You can find the recipe for this drink by going to the large mansion at the Brewery Estate in Chalk Peak, northwest of Tall Grass Inn.
