As someone who’s spent countless hours in arcades, I can confidently say that these minigames in FNaF: Into the Pit are as challenging as they are rewarding. First off, we got the Purple Guy’s little hat-catching stunt on the hidden screen – a tricky maneuver that requires precision and quick reflexes, much like trying to catch a greased pig at a county fair!
At the beginning of “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit,” Jeff’s Pizzeria appears dilapidated due to neglect in maintenance and repairs by Jeff. Consequently, none of the arcade games are operational at the start of the game. In order to collect tickets or exchange them for prizes, Oswald will either need to utilize the arcade at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria (which might lead to discovery by the animatronics and necessitates finding tokens) or take the initiative and fix the machines himself.
To repair all the faulty Arcade Machines in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit, you should thoroughly investigate various spots to gather the required components. As someone who’s spent countless hours playing arcade games in my youth, I can confidently say that this task is right up my alley. Head on over to The Mill and find the Puzzle Matrix lying around. Bring it with you and make your way to the last interactive cabinet on the right side of the Arcade. Once there, install the matrix to fix the machine. This Freddy-themed sliding puzzle might seem simple at first glance, but don’t be fooled – it’s a challenging yet entertaining brainteaser that will reward you with tickets upon completion. Keep an eye on your time as well, because the game keeps track of your best performance in an attempt to help you set a high score. Let the good times roll!
Fast Food Invader
Among all the arcade machines, this one appears to be the most straightforward to repair. You can pick up the futuristic speakers located next to the damaged ticket dispenser on the right side of the arcade from day 1 onwards and insert them into the cabinet. This is a basic shooting game where you need to eradicate various adversaries while avoiding their attacks. As the mini-game advances, more challenging enemies such as pizza slices (requiring two hits to defeat) and burgers (requiring three hits to defeat) will begin to appear, increasing the difficulty level.
Shoot the Space Balloons
Starting from day one, I’ll need to grab the Electron Gun stashed away in the Storage Room adjacent to the Arcade. Once installed in the “Shoot the Space Balloons” cabinet, a mini-game inspired by Asteroids will become accessible. In this cosmic adventure, Balloon Boy is tasked with dodging and destroying balloons that resemble the main animatronics while navigating through space. As the game unfolds, larger balloons will appear, splitting into swarms of smaller ones upon explosion.
Deliver the Pizza
You’ll require a new power source to repair this cabinet. Fortunately, there’s one available in the Trash Can located within the Party Room at the current pizzeria. Put it into place to activate a mini-game resembling Frogger but with a pizza delivery twist.
Collect the Hats
On your first night, make your way to the Party Hallway and pick up the Control Panel sitting on the table. This device allows you to activate “Gather the Hats,” an enjoyable mini-game featuring Balloon Boy. The objective is for him to collect hats while dodging incoming cannonballs.
Once you’ve gathered five hats, head left off-screen from the platform below the cannon on the left side. You’ll discover a sequence of hidden bonus areas there. In the final concealed area, you’ll come across the Purple Guy about to toss a sixth hat into an abyss. Quickly move towards him, jump carefully, and extend your jump just enough to seize the falling hat before correcting your course to land securely back on the original ledge. Return to the main screen, then use the door that emerged after you collected the first five hats to finish the mini-game.
Pizza Roller
As a pizza enthusiast, I suggest heading over to the Ball Pit Room and reaching for the wooden balls scattered on the floor from above if they’re not immediately visible. Once I’ve gathered these Wooden Balls, I can easily mend the “Pizza Roller” and have endless fun playing it! This simple minigame is all about scoring as high as possible, making it my go-to for quickly racking up tickets. In my humble opinion, it’s one of the quickest methods available.
Rescue the Children
To repair the “Save the Children” arcade game, you’ll have to put in a new Token Holder since the original one is missing. Fortunately, you can find this replacement in the Basement of the future pizzeria. This somewhat eerie mini-game involves racing through a labyrinth to save five children from the Yellow Rabbit. The main danger lies in the fact that the Yellow Rabbit can snatch the kids if he manages to stay close enough to them for a certain period. A progress bar will show up over him when he’s attempting to grab someone, so dodge left and right or make a run for the closest exit if you’ve already saved all the children.
Heftin’ With Helpules
As a fan, I’m excited about fixing the “Heftin’ With Helpules” machine, and it seems that Oswald will need to retrieve the Weight Resistance Mechanism hidden in his basement during Night 2. Since it won’t be available on Night 1, remember to grab it as you exit the house at the end of Night 2. Once secured, I can’t wait to tinker with this quirky weight-training arcade machine! There’s no secret strategy here; just press buttons and see how many reps I can manage before time runs out!
The Reward
By mending every arcade machine, you’ll initiate a brief scene featuring Jeff, who expresses gratitude towards Oswald for his efforts in enhancing the pizzeria and contemplates putting more dedication into its improvement. He then compensates Oswald with an amusingly meager discount coupon and returns to the entrance. Activating this scene and acquiring the coupon is a vital move towards achieving the 3-Star conclusion. Additionally, collecting all the prize stickers from the Prize Machine is another essential action needed to secure the 3-Star ending.
