As an ardent gamer with decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must admit that while I was eagerly anticipating the release of Throne and Liberty, I understand and respect the decision to delay it for two weeks. Having played numerous games that have suffered delays, I’ve learned that a well-polished game is better than an unfinished one.
The release of Throne and Liberty has experienced a slight postponement, now scheduled for October 1 instead of its original mid-September 2024 launch date.

Throne and Liberty English Version Hit With Small Delay
As a dedicated fan eagerly awaiting the launch of Throne and Liberty, I’ve got some exciting news… and some slightly disappointing news too! While we were initially set for a September 17 release, Amazon Games has announced a small delay. Instead, Throne and Liberty will now be available from October 1. The early access period has been adjusted accordingly, moving back to September 26.
Throne and Liberty Getting New Features Ahead of Release
NCSoft is currently enhancing the game for the open beta release by incorporating additional features not originally included. Many of these features were previously introduced in the South Korean version of the MMORPG. For instance, there will be new skill specializations to enrich the leveling mechanics of Throne and Liberty, allowing players more options to tailor their combat experiences. Moreover, a fishing minigame and cooking mechanics are being developed. Cooking won’t only involve ingredients but also recipes that will be categorized into attack, defense, utility, and life effect groups.
The game designer intends to incorporate Amitoi Expeditions, a feature enabling players to dispatch their pets on independent missions. This not only assists players in advancing continuously but also encourages regular logins. Features like this have been common in free-to-play games for quite some time. Amazon has announced that these new features, including Amitoi Expeditions, will be accessible from the very start of the game.
The game is open for all to play at no cost, but players have the choice to purchase early access packs starting from $29.99. These packs grant access to the MMORPG five days before its launch, along with special Throne and Liberty weapons, outfits, Morphs, titles, and currency, among other benefits.
