I’m really excited about Elysium! It looks like a co-op survival game where you explore the ruins of a super advanced, but totally wrecked, future world. You’ll be scavenging for everything you need while fighting off these creepy, mutated creatures and mechanical monsters. The goal is to rebuild this fallen utopia, and you do that by powering up old towers and transit lines. Apparently, each time you do, it opens up new areas, gives you more resources, and you start to uncover the secrets of what happened and what’s still out there. The enemies sound awesome – kind of like the creatures in Horizon, with corrupted animal guardians that are either mechanical or messed up by radiation. You can’t just run in guns blazing, though. You have to learn how they behave and use crafted gear and salvaged weapons to take them down. It sounds like a really cool challenge!
Beyond exploring and fighting, Elysium lets you build and craft extensively, much like the game The Forest. You’ll choose a spot to build your base and use materials like wood, stone, and ore to improve and expand it as you play. You can also craft better tools and weapons, but it’s important to manage your resources carefully. If you’re playing alone, focus on what you need. If you’d rather play with friends, Elysium offers online co-op for up to four players, letting you share resources and take on bigger challenges together.
