S1mple Breaks Silence On Return To Competitive Counter-Strike

Following NAVI’s triumphant performance at the Esports World Cup, whispers among fans swirled about when s1mple might grace us with his presence again. As the rumor mill churned, anticipation grew that this upcoming major LAN event could be the stage for his grand return to professional competition.

On his official Telegram page after IEM Cologne, s1mple expressed that there are certain topics which can be tough to discuss, yet his enthusiasm remains undimmed. He went on to say that he’s genuinely pleased with the team’s performance, but occasionally they seem to lack a required level of professionalism, which in turn leaves him feeling frustrated.

The 26-year-old Counter-Strike pro then expressed his need to get back out there.

“One day, I long to come back, as I’ve grown weary of idleness. When that day comes, there’s no doubt in my mind that I’ll be more robust – all I need is some time.”
