How To Get Specialization Memory Fragments In Once Human

As a seasoned player of Once Human, I’ve found myself deeply immersed in the game’s intricate world and mechanics. One aspect that has particularly caught my eye is the Specialization Memory Fragments, which offer an exciting opportunity to further customize our characters.

In the game “Once Human,” you’ll find an array of benefits and crafting designs hidden within the game’s role-playing system called Specializations. This feature allows players to have more control over shaping their desired character. Typically, these are chosen when a player reaches a multiple of five levels, but soon after the game launched, developers added in Specialization Memory Fragments as an additional element.

As a gamer diving into the world of Once Human, it’s not always possible for everyone to grab the top-tier Specializations right away, but luckily, Memory Fragments provide an opportunity to enhance your character even more. Here’s a guide on how you can snag some:

In the final chests of Silo and Monolith boss battles, it’s quite rare for players to find Specialization Memory Fragments. The game doesn’t provide specific drop rate details for these fragments, but anecdotal evidence suggests that after investing around 20-40 attempts on Controllers in these activities, at least one Specialization can be obtained.

When farming either Silos or Monoliths, we strongly recommend playing on Hard difficulty at the very least. The quality of loot you get here is significantly better than in Normal mode, so even if you don’t get a Specialization Memory Fragment, you’ll at least get good mods and legendary weapons. The Shadow Hound boss in Once Human drops all sorts of weapon mods, making it a good choice if you plan on exploring new builds in the future.

In case it becomes necessary, there’s an option available for you to acquire a Specialization Memory Fragment from fellow players. You might want to post a query in the World Chat or take a look at the Vending Machines to see if anyone is selling these fragments.

From my personal gaming experience, I haven’t found any concrete evidence yet that playing on Hard or Pro difficulty boosts the drop rate for Specialization Memory Fragments. Interestingly enough, some gamers have shared their experiences of obtaining these fragments from lower-level bosses, even Normal mode ones such as Treant at Gaia Cliff Monolith.

How To Use Specialization Memory Fragments

After gathering a fragment, navigate to your Cradle, open the Memetics menu, and click on the button in the top-left corner. In your Specializations screen, locate the button in the upper right corner to access a new interface with your accumulated Memory Fragments for Specializations. Choose one, then replace one of the Specializations you’ve already unlocked with it.

In this game, each fragment is designated its own tier, and it can solely take the place of Specializations within the specified tier range. So, if you have a Memory Fragment suitable for levels 5, 10, and 15, you won’t be able to swap the Specialization you earned at level 45 because it doesn’t fall within that fragment’s range.

Specialization Memory Fragment Limitations

In summary, any Specialization Memory Fragments you’ve collected during the current season won’t carry over to the next one. Instead, they will be eliminated once the season concludes. To manage your specializations more flexibly, try to use Memetic Cleansers, which can be earned by completing Seasonal Goals, to reset unwanted specializations rather than farming them deep into a season.

Moreover, you are allowed to utilize a maximum of three Specialization Memory Fragments each season. Keep in mind that once you reach this limit, you cannot swap out your perks, regardless of any additional fragments you may acquire.
