On Reddit, user earic23 mentioned that they’ve been showing their friends they’ve pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 digitally through the PlayStation Store, but they clarify they haven’t actually done so and haven’t played a Call of Duty game for quite some time now. Other Reddit users have made similar comments, expressing that their PlayStation Store is falsely indicating to their friends that they’ve pre-ordered the shooter when in fact they haven’t.

Whenever I check for upcoming games on the PlayStation Store, a pop-up shows if any of my friends have already pre-ordered the title.
