When Does Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Start?
2024’s Opening Night Live kicks off a thrilling two-hour extravaganza, and the excitement begins 30 minutes earlier as I, your fellow enthusiast, join Kyle Bosman for a pre-show stream to set the stage!
The pre-show is hinted to unveil extra gaming announcements, alongside the usual reveal of announcements and video trailers during the event.

Team Cherry has announced that their upcoming game, Hollow Knight: Silksong, won’t participate in the event this year. Similarly, both PlayStation and Nintendo have decided to sit out Gamescom in 2024, marking another year they will not attend.
Nevertheless, it appears that Microsoft is poised to compensate for any absent publishers or developers, as they are said to be displaying more than 50 games at the event.
